It wasn't at all a scary show, but had some really good stories. I watched it when I was in 6th grade. Right before watching "All That". Old school Nick was the best stuff on TV in those days. Yeah, I would just get freaked a little at times. It really was a good show. Plenty of goo...

Are You Afraid of the Dark tv show

Anyone else used to watch this show back in the day when Nick was good? I remember I used to watch it everyday when it was on. Even though it was rated TV-Y7 and I kind of knew nothing that scary would happen, it still creeped me out at times. I also remember an episode with a werewolf in it and, at...

Hey, welcome. I think you'll like it here. :D

I remember that show. For some reason, I never watched it that much. I should check it out some more - been years.

Yes, though I think the impression that scene would have on the audience would depend largely on which form they are in. If only one of them is a were, even in human form, I'm sure some people would still feel iffy about that. Now a Werewolf and a Smoothskin... that'd be just plain kinky More like t...

Ok I feel I should make sure people know that looking "sexy" and having sex are not the same thing... True, though I was leaning more toward the latter (but not outright love making) in the middle of the second paragraph in my first post. I was referring to the usual skimpy outfits found ...

Yes, sex sells. But if you show a couple werewolves gettin it on...whammo. BESTIALITY! Yeah. I can picture a potential ww movie with that in it, complete with that b-grade quality throughout the movie and infamous for "that scene" (or has that already been done and I don't know about it? ...

I like how they make the moment and the eclipse itself very majestic indeed. :D

I think a lot of us don't agree with many of the sounds werewolves make in movies. :P

Re: Individuality

It feels like the individuality is sucked out of a lot of conversations...It might just be me. What conversations, specifically? Ours or just in general? I can't really say anything for individuality in animals, as I've never looked into it, but I'm sure werewolves would have some aspect of it. Wer...

Ahh :o I completely forgot to add that fact when I was writing the post. I thought to put that as one of the reasons but forgot before I had a chance to add it. Yeah, vampires are much easier to create in a movie. Just give them a set of long fangs, make their skin pale (that's been more or less dro...

While I am not part of the core group that was formed when The Pack was created, it may not be my place, but I feel that it isn't too much of a worry. It seems the first few years took care of all the general questions and considerations regarding werewolves, but I would hardly consider that to be t...

Possible reasons behind vampire popularity (and my thoughts)

As opposed to werewolf popularity. As far as I know, both vampires and werewolves started out on the same level in the horror movie genre. In the classic B&W movie I'm thinking of, both werewolf and vampire were in their stereotypical, classic roles, and about to fight each other. For reasons I ...

One song that I feel fits this would be Alter Bridge's Metalingus . Admittedly, I heard it used in a Sabrewulf compilation/tribute video and, given the lyrics, it does seem to be fitting. The singer sings about how he's leaving the past behind to pursue a better future and a dream. I suppose it coul...

I never really considered that all three objects, the sun, the Earth, and the moon, plays a part in causing a shift. From this point, I can see how it would require all of them to be in the right places for the moon's light to have an effect. I guess it makes sense that one can mimic the moon's ligh...

Yeah, it seems that they kept his story and history as part of the "cameo", but nothing of his physical look. Huh, I don't think I ever saw the SNES version of his ending. It looks like they didn't even bother to render his face. ?? Never played it on a higher diff to see that version of t...

Even though Sabreman is usually depicted in a cartoony style, I do doubt that he would look like that in a "realistic" depiction. I guess in KI his human form had to more or less look similar to his wolf form, even with an oddly wide chest. I'm quite sure that the only time you see his hum...

KI's Sabrewulf is actually a semi-cameo non-canon appearance of Sabreman from Rare's Sabrewulf games. Apparently he was bitten at the end of one of the games (the second one, as I recall) and seeks a way to cure it in the next game following that by hunting down Sabrewulf once again (in the game Sab...

If I recall his story and background, Sabrewulf was good actually. In the first game, he didn't even fight hard enough to keep himself from being badly beaten by the end (however far he got). Even Riptor could be argued as "good", since he was just sadly torn between reason and instinct.

It would really depend on whether or not they can speak in were form. If they can't, that would probably ensure their "yelping". Something I've always considered: If a werewolf could speak, would they make more feral sounds depending on the "magnitude" of the incident? Like if on...

Sure they can! The emotes we have are proof of that! :wiggle: :woof: But seriously, it depends what the person considers as cute. A person who may have had a frightening experience with a dog as a child may grow up still in fear of them, and may also extend that to werewolves and not like them. Of c...
