Man! Why is it that I always find out about things on here so long after they're posted?
I was wondering if there would ever be a chat room here!

Re: In Human Clothes
Everyone's suggestions for specific clothing or other items used for identifying oneself as a werewolf are giving me tons of ideas for future stories! Breakaway athletic pants and vacuum sealed clothes for emergencies? Why didn't I think of those! I am more of a lurker and try to comment only when I...

Re: Something Different-- I.Q. test.
As for the hunter, it depends. Is this just some shotgun toting yokel, religous nut, angry torch wielding villager? Or is he a competent hunter who knows what he's doing? If it's the former I'll just eat them. If it's the latter...things get more complicated. Do we have access to our former places ...

Re: Something Different-- I.Q. test.
Remember: you're starkers. Naked. Barefoot to the forehead. All you have is your fur, teeth, and claws (standard Werewolf-issue equipment). No Phone, keys, or anything else...just your own lovely self. The only good thing is that it's too cold for fleas right now. Well, okay. In that case, I ...

Re: Wolf and wolf-dog sanctuaries and rescue-centers...
...Couple of things wrong with that... You know, I definitely see where you're coming from. I guess I've always thought of werewolves as being loners since I have somewhat of a tendency to be one myself. I also figure that werewolves would be primarily humans, choosing to shift as an escape or to h...

Yeah, that's the one!
Watching it again, the song isn't really that great and there is some *ahem* parts at the end I really don't like. I'm not going to post the link, just Youtube "Wolf Boy" if you really want to see it.

Re: Werewolf Music Videos
As for the Bullet for My Valentine song, the video was well put together. The werewolf really wasn't my style and the music is a bit heavier than what I go with now, but once again, interesting story. Didn't really like the second one. Just my opinion! I found this one of my own that was inte...

Re: Just what does that big old Moon do, anyhow?
I say that while the moon does not force one to shift, it can make one want to shift and heightens one's wolfish side. I also like the idea of better night vision that would make a full moon night appear to be an overcast day to them.

Re: Wolf and wolf-dog sanctuaries and rescue-centers...
Another option would be to actually work as a volunteer at the sanctuary as a werewolf to either avoid detection, run around with the other wolves at night or help take care of those who have been detected as werewolves in their human form. Or is that partially what you were saying? Personally I thi...

Re: Official Membership Card: Request List
I'd like the photoshop option. The only downside is that anyone could use it and there would be a bunch of random people making them (which is fine, I guess, but would make them less unique).

Re: Feel free to notice my insanity...
I'm not positive, but I think our active female members are quickly becoming the majority. That female werewolf fans are just as numerous, if not more so, than male fans is interesting to me, and a clear indicator that the myths--and the stereotypes--are changing. That is interesting; I never would...

I'd be interested as well! It's been some time now since this thread was created; do we know when this podcast is coming together? Re: What does it mean to be a werewolf?
What it means to me to be a werewolf. This is hard to explain because it defines my whole reason for being part of the pack, for constantly looking for werewolf art, for being obsessed with them. It's something deep, something I've been interested in since I was six. To be a werewolf to me is to hav...

I don't know if this is dead and gone now, but I would like an ID card. I am awaiting an avatar from the busy Z (I found her on Deviantart), so when that is done I will PM you the info. This post is more to remind me to do it.

Re: Bites...how/when.
IMO: Once the person it bitten, it takes overnight (or at least several hours) for the virus to circulate through the entire body and make the necessary changes. After that, the recently bitten person will be forced to shift the first time. This is for several reasons: 1)To make sure that person kno...

Re: Werewolves do they don't know if they are one?
I don't like the whole idea of werewolves not remembering anything from during the time they're shifted; that takes the whole fun out of it, and will obviously lead to problems later! The idea of loosing control of oneself just isn't very appealing to me. Something that could lead to that happening ...

First thing that came to my mind was just writing it down for them. I mean, even with paw-hands you should still be able to write at least as well as you can with your left hand (assuming you're right handed). I duno, I also might go get into my car and see how well I can drive over to their house (...

Re: Crying/Laughing
Interesting question! Smile, yes. As has been mentioned, smiles and grimaces would be distinguishable; they'd also combine it with a tail wag (because of their wolf side). Laughing? I say go for a combination of the human laugh, and the canine bark/pant. How would that sound? I can't even imagine. I...

Re: Beards?
Wow, can't believe I didn't see this earlier! My thoughts are that fur length depends on the temperature of the weather. When in human form, and the body senses that it's cold, they will shift with longer, winter fur. If it's summer, the fur will be shorter. This applies to unnatural temperature cha...

Re: werewolves and halloween....
I believe GoldenWulfen actually did a series of panels on the subject a few years ago. On her website, only one remains; titled, I believe "Cute Costume". The main concept was that even Werewolves weren't taken all that seriously, and eventually wound up at a Halloween party: as Guests. T...

I especially like how she does the han...
