I went with the shorter fur option. I believe that werewolves should have full manes just like in van helsing with heavy amounts of fur running down their back and onto their fluffy tails. The front torso area should have minimal fur or really fine fur to outline the major muscle areas (not THAT mus...

I've been into wolves/werewolves since I was at least 13 years old. Just something about them. Not sure what it is...but I felt drawn to wolves. Then thanks to our good ol' buddy internet, I discovered more about werewolves (which I knew very little about at the time). Things just kinda rolled on fr...

Words escape me. It's perfect! I can't think of any better way to execute such an transformation. It's good to see this movie is concerned with the details such as the eye. There is so much going on when the transformation occurs. Most movies just slap the yellow on there after its all said and done...

That is to say that the government doesen't already know about werewolves and are keeping them alive on a remote island somewhere that does not show up on any maps. Keep in mind, Area 51 didn't show up on maps before all this UFO talk started to pressure them. What would the government want with wer...

Yes, I feel comfortable with the producers of this film. They really seem to know what direction their going with the werewolf. However, keep in mind that a werewolf is not the only thing that makes up a good werewolf film. There has to be good and believable acting (nothing I hate worse than bad ac...

Wow! You have my attention! I love how the claws worked out! So natural, so real. Very beliveable. I agree that human nails are used for next to nothing. They are soft and frail and they break really easilly. Werewolves would need completely new nails from them and fallen off when they revert back. ...

I think, for the purposes of this movie, the Werewolvs should be almost exclusively bi-pedal. However...I also think that the transformed body shold have at least some limited capacity to move on all fours more natually than a human could, but still not gracefully. Forgive me for quoting myself, bu...

Re: December's full moon
The December Full Moon has many names: Oak Moon, Snow Moon, Frost Moon, Blood Moon, Cold Moon, Wolf Moon, Long Nights' Moon, Moon before Yule, Moon of Long Nights, Big Winter Moon, Moon of Popping Trees. Since I work nights, I'll be able to check it out once I'm making a gasoline delivery. Tonight ...

Oh my gosh! I can just imagine a huge hybrid werewolf walking his little Yorkshire terrier... or some other fluffy teacup sized dog. :D Ahhh but really, I think domestic pets would be fine, as long as they were of the canine kind. I would have to question the sexual preference of that werewolf!

Wow this is all getting very...technical. A shift would almost have to not affect the baby, other than perhaps a change to and from wolf as its mother transforms. The reason really is a simple one. A species that can't reproduce well dies out. It doesn't matter how well evolved they may (or may not...

Female werewolves, while pregnant, should avoid changing form. The fetus is very sensitive to antibodies that the mother produces, and there are some cases where the fetus dies due to the mother having an allergenic response to the fetus. The placental membrane filters most of the mother's antibodi...

Sure, I think a werewolf could have a pet. And why not? A dog when he first sees his master as a werewolf might freak him out at first and he might go crazy. However, once the dog picks up the scent of his owner and realizes that this huge beastial thing standing in front of him are the same master ...

Well, with enough practice and more excersize on that certain muscle (have no idea on the name) you ought to be able to do it more often. I wonder if somewhere there is a person who walks pure digitigrade because of this. Be interesting to meet someone like that. heh, if everyone started doing this...
