I go for tigers and birds and whatnot, but this is primarily a werewolf forum. I think American Indians have more coyotes than wolves, though. And ravens.

I think strength shouldn't change. Mentally you'd be changed by the experience like you would by any other experience. I can imagine a slight still-there of ears and nose, but it wouldn't be anything major. If anything, the improvement would be in that you'd notice them more, rather than just dismis...

My thought is that basically newer weres caught unawares (get it? :Duckietoss: ) would be caught with clothes--- but do you realize HOW powerful clothes are vs-non-shearing forces? I think if they had too tough of a material on they might well die from it. Like cutting-into-flesh-and-bleeding kind o...

I believe I mentioned motorcycles before. I'd like to point out they despite the lesser safety (or is that-- you just have to be alert?), they are a bridging technology in general, because they use less fuel. Well, maybe not bridging technology per-say, but if they were used more, instead of cars, w...

When life gives you lemons, take said lemons, walk up to a playing jazz band, cut one in half, hold it up, and then start licking it. I guarantee everyone in the band will screw up within 30 seconds.

... And so, to keep up a spirit of levity in here... I read a story in an old IASFM. Basically it goes like this. Bartender is working late. One of the regulars is there, complaining about his wife. Another one comes in. he's pissed. seems he bought a magic medallion from another bar-goer that was m...

I probably wouldn't want to do anything overly visible. If they could enhance my senses and strength and agility, reflexes, etc, sure. Maybe a tail would be nice.

I just wouldn't want to go full-out without being able to transform. Which isn't gonna happen any time soon.

There is one thing that separates us from the great majority of animals, though, and that is the ability to perceive the future. No, I don't mean "looking into the future" but I mean anticipating. Most other species are solely reactionary. Something happens, they react to it. So are we, to...

I'd figure that they would be treated much with more surprise, since everyone's heard of werewolves, but, other werekin seem much more far-fetched. I figure were's would be limited to roughly, mammals, marsupials, birds, reptiles, and amphibians, plus possibly fish. Basically anything with a spine. ...

I can attest to the effectiveness of nails. Usually I keep mien essentially claw-like... very sueful. If you've got real force in your arms, it isn't hard to draw blood with them.

Also, getting punched in the ribs won't hurt as much because your ribcage, being dome-like, won't cave in. Skin will.

I'd bet it depends on exactly how the author portrays them. It also depends on how shifted they are. With human intelligence, I'd bet they'd have a better chance of being able to use their claws to assist.

Truthfully, I can list many authors I know of whose books are fascinating and very very good. Most books, have you realized, are absolute s***?
