The ones I'm looking forward to most are Timedancer and Dark Ages. For some reason, I just wasn't very interested in Bad Guys, but I'm glad I bought it anyway because it definitely pleasantly surprised me.

Heath Ledger is Dead

What a shame. He was a good actor, and only 28. :(

There's something you mentioned in there that I definitely agree with, and it really bothers me when men in our culture act this way--the whole notion that being compared to a woman is somehow insulting. What's wrong with women? Nothing. You hear guys use women or the female anatomy all the time in ...

After Bad Guys is finished, Timedancer will be coming out, and then Pendragon seems to be the most likely to follow. But as far as Dark Ages, The New Olympians, and 2198, I have no idea which ones will come first.

The same company does the main title, as well as Bad Guys and any future spin-off series that are made. It's Slave Labor Graphics, here's their website: http://www.slgcomic.com/ Here's some information about the various spin-offs (according to current information, this may change): -they'll be black...

Granted, but now all of them is taking a different side and their collective idiocy overwhelms all rational thought and all of human society collapses into chaos.

I wish I had a reset button that worked with real life.

I'm pretty sure my soul is--well--ancient (not sure why, I have just always felt like my soul is very old). I've never been able to see my memories from past lives and such, but I don't think that's necessary in order to have a very old soul. At the moment, I am being "blocked" from access...

I loved this movie. I'm not sure if I still know how to use spoiler tags, so if you don't want to see a spoiler, don't read the text immediately below. [spoiler] I've seen plenty of zombie-esque movies where the main character has to kill someone he or she cares about, and frankly, no movie has ever...

Silverclaw: I have the first issue of Bad Guys; it's really good so far. It's in black and white instead of color, but it still looks awesome. The artist who penciled #5 (Bash) of the main series, Karinne Charlebois (who is, IMO, the best artist they've had so far), is doing all of the art for Bad G...

I agree. Dogma = bad. That said, I've known more than one atheist who was as "dogmatic" (if the term even applies here) as some spiritual people. It's just as annoying to have some Christian shoving their views down my throat as it is to have an atheist shoving their lack of beliefs down m...

Ugh. I hate the idea of skinny werewolves. When a human being shifts, they should bulk up more than their human form. Like Goldenwolf's Kierrn or Sidor's Dyre. Now THOSE are werewolves.

I do agree that changing from one gender to another would be simpler than changing from one SPECIES to another--but I honestly doubt any chromosomal changes would take place. There is such a thing as "women" who have one X chromosome and one Y. On a genetic level, they are men, but physica...

Didn't read the whole thread, but I think I agree with Terastas and Aki. My thoughts: "Were" means "man" "Wolf" means "wolf" Therefore, werewolf quite literally translates to: "manwolf". In order for something to pass as a werewolf, it has to be a cr...

I believe in a higher power of some sort--though I am not entirely sure of the nature of that higher power. Despite that, it doesn't bother me when people say they believe in nothing. I'm not even sure WHAT I believe, so it would be pretty darn hard for me to get offended. I've read about the Flying...

Good points, definitely. The whole thing still bothers me though. As a general rule, I like to be left alone and not forced to pay for anything for anyone else. Personally, I'm not sure I want socialized healthcare. I don't want MY tax money to foot the bill when some dumbass makes a stupid mistake. If you drive down a highway at 90 miles an hour, crash into a tree, and nearly kill yourself, YOU pay for your bills. If you smoke cigarettes for 40 years despi...

Basically like a very thick comic book (though I'm not sure what the cover will look like for the gargoyles trade paperback). I didn't read all the replies, but I'd say it's certainly possible that *some people* will think we are "ruining" (their idea of) werewolves. If someone thinks werewolves should be crazed ravenous killers, then clearly they might not enjoy the Pack's interpretation of what werewolves may b...

This is the company that makes them. Do a search for "gargoyles" here and you can see the covers and stuff:

If you're interested, buying the trade paperback when it's available would probably be the easiest way to catch up :)

Are any of you reading the new Gargoyles comics?

Just wondering. I remember from some conversations on this forum long ago that some of you were gargoyles fans. I've been reading them and loving them! :D It's so great to finally have new canon stories in my favorite cartoon ever. I can't wait for the trade paperback to come out Wednesday! :howl: :oo
