Re: Getting Together

I put my vote against that. Some of the profile images used in that Frapper map have images that are not safe for children or work (pornographic). Who has admin rights over that? Apparently the owner of the account apparently is not able to get into their Frappr account to administrate it at all. O...

Re: IMPROVEMENTS!

I've just been hit with a rather interesting idea. It's mainly based on allowing writers to post their short werewolf-related stories on the website. However, the twist to it is that it'll have: A decent online editor that can be used for writing stories which will have the same features as your usu...

If not, that's okay.
Actually, that's rather simple. A bot could be written to kick a person off the channel if they're doing something undesired.

[Pre-production stage] Web-based IRC client

Currently I'm starting a basic project of writing a better IRC client for the IRC PackChat. Little do some people know, there's actually a more active chatroom for The Pack rather than the Java one on the website. It's at http://kiri.nonexiste.net:2001/ However, it's very basic, doesn't make a sound...

Re: Getting Together

Be careful of trying to automate things too much though... I've seen a few places which track visitors by IP address and it looks a lot like the IP range I use (any random Vodaphone dial-up modem) is all registered to Auckland. I'm at the other end of the country... We don't purely rely on just the...

Re: Ownage of Epic Proportions!!!

Heheheheh, I find it a bit entertaining. xP Otherwise with all the data put together, it solidly ties together (from what I read and know regarding all the technical details). Currently there's over a 1,000,000 views on that topic, and 504 results regarding his username (mainly from people linking t...

Re: Getting Together

http://www.frappr.com/thepack/map Found it. I think I might actually just implement that directly on this website so that admins could administrate it, and it would be linked to your forum account. Frappr just simply uses the Google Maps API (application programming interface), so it wouldn't be al...

Re: Board problems--read before you move this! Seriously.

You should never need to refresh your cookies on a regular basis for it. However, the settings were toyed around with a little more (Lupin just changed one detail), thus, people need to refresh their cookies to make it take effect. It's just that when the settings are no longer adjusted as of cookie...

Re: Board problems--read before you move this! Seriously.

Just read the instructions on the login page if you are having issues. That's really the only way to solve the problem, and that's what the problem is dealing with (which is regarding cookies as of the web browser). As for it saying that you're logged in when you hypothetically aren't--is normal. Th...

I've attached screenshots of the layout 'bsrf'. (the forum view one is obviously two images merged if you didn't realize)

Re: What happened to the black-bluish theme?

Actually, he's talking about the very old layout called 'bsrf' (Counterstrike Expanded was made later on). I could spend time converting that as well, but that'll be a bit time consuming potentially. Otherwise, I figured why recode another layout when we'll probably be getting a newer layout yet. I...

Re: What's Kaebora's Excuse?

Again I'm experiencing more downtime from the Pack forums than usual. My plans to make more membership cards, magic cards, and even the usual browsing and such... has fallen into a lack of participation. (Well, I barely post much anyways since I've turned into a reader and observer these days.) I f...

Login issues resolved

For those whom were starting to have login problems earlier, it's been resolved. Nothing big as it was just cookie settings. I've put up a little guide on the login page for those whom are still experiencing problems. So don't worry, nothing is wrong with any of your accounts. :P

Re: I should have never lied about my age here.

I'll never lie about my age. I might as well wear a t-shirt with "I'm 16 years of age" in nice big bold print. I just hate ageism though, because that has gotten in my way a few times. But I'm pretty much trying to be a living example that not all teenagers are immature, foolish, careless,...

5. Post in pre-existing topics. Check the older posts for the subject you want to post to. Don't start a new thread if one already exists. We have pages and pages of old posts and try searching them first before making a new or duplicate thread. In truth, I'm really opposed to this rule. The absolu...

Re: New things

Match up every background image, color, size and make new images for like "warn", "report", and so on (since the old layout doesn't have such buttons). It probably won't take a full 8 hours, but still a decent amount of time. Because I have to make sure the colors/images are corr...

So it was entertaining. Just sat a...

If you continue to swear, you will be notified with a warning. If it still persists, it will result in a temporary ban or more. 2...

I'd love a blog, preferably one that gave us the option of sharing with non-Pack-members versus Pack members only. Blogs would make it easier for us to know about goings-ons in each others' lives. I'm personally not into blogs, but I know there are several packmembers here who are. You could always...

I've noticed about half of our users use Firefox , thus I figured some people would probably get a good laugh out of this: http://www.shelleytherepublican.com/2007/01/31/mozilla-exposed.aspx ( The Digg page that led me to it ) All I ask is to not take this too seriously and start some senseless flam...
