Re: Little Dragon Menagerie...

Wow, me's back with a new, faster computer! :D And I find my Guardian hatchling, Kavachi, all grown up, and my Earth egg hatched. Hopefully it'll be a male, so I can mate him to Girtab (my Stone female) and get a geode. Sure can't catch 'em on the AP... In other news... Vindr-Myrkva and Kavachi mate...

Re: Little Dragon Menagerie...

Time to reboot... I've named my cave "Blue Ocean Cave" because I noticed that most of the dragons in there were blue and grey. I visualize it as a south-facing cave in the headlands above an ocean, with a natural ring of standing stones on the top of the cliff. I had some computer issues t...

Go over to Egg Rescue HQ. http://s1.zetaboards.com/Egg_Rescue_HQ/index/ Register, click 100 eggs (it sounds like a lot, but it goes fast — pick a common egg hatchery like White, Pink or Magi), then submit your eggs to the Hatchery and the ICU. With the latter, tell what they are and how long they ha...

Re: Little Dragon Menagerie...

I found a guy who had an extra V-day egg, offering it to the first person that PM'ed him. I shot off a message instantly. Then the site crashed and gave me a 500-error! :x It's back up now. I'm checking my messages. Hopefully I got one... D'oh!! Someone beat me to it :( Eh, well. Guess I'll tr...

Re: Little Dragon Menagerie...

Since my bred Winter egg hatched just now (welcome, Muhlifan!), I have room for another egg. If the Valentine's Grabbers don't come through, I'll see about grabbing a Split egg or hatchling. And yes, that's ANOTHER Winter egg in my siggy. Feel free to click. Since all of the names I had picked out f...

Re: Little Dragon Menagerie...

:eyebrow: Ooooooh, meh's jealous! I wanted a Valentine's egg but I'm on dial-up. Some hotshot with high-speed beat me to them all. Did you see that mass-drop around 11PM Pacific last night? God, it was Valentine's after Valentine's and I was going bonkers clicking to catch one. No joy. Fortunately t...

I'm going to do a riff on the mocha hi-hats tonight and tomorrow. I don't have coffee powder in the pantry, so I'll use peppermint chai instead.

Hey, Baph, my two-header Dubhe and Mirach turned out to be a boy. I got another Split egg to be a mate to D 'n M. If it turns out to be another boy, wanna trade one of your girls for him?

Re: Little Dragon Menagerie...

There, fixed... Thanks, Whisperwind! :) I'm thinking of mating Ruchbar and Rastinnin. I took a look on the Egg Rescue HQ board's Breeding thread and saw that (F) Water + (M) Seasonal...well, no-one's mated those yet. But they're not on the "Refused" list, so... Onward, in the name of Drago...

I can't wait to see what comes out of that yin-yang egg.
I'm holding out for the "slightly warm" egg. That turns into the little red one that spouts smoke, right?

Re: Little Dragon Menagerie...

Well, as you can see, I got my issues with Dragon Cave sorted out...now I'm the keeper of three hatchlings and one egg. I had another hatchling but it hatched too early and went hiding...it didn't show up like Rastinnin did (another escapee), so I abandoned it. No dead dragons so far [touching wood]...

vrik: I actually didn't know that about Armageddon, thanks for sharing! [smacking self on the forehead] Damn! Re: Full Moon Happenings

Not a full moon tonight, it's waxing crescent...nice :)

But honestly, a full moon is a stargazer's enemy, as much as city lights are. Fortunately it's clear tonight and a crescent moon, so that's where I'm going shortly-shortly.

I love my new binocs

Re: Furs,Therian,Otherkin,WereWolves, Shamans, Mythology etc?

Apocolypse? Puhleeeze. "Apocalypse" means "a revealing." Says nothing about destruction. As for me, Apocalypse happens regularly. Armageddon, now...from the Hebraic "meggido"...I think we're seeing that over in Gaza right now. An Israeli soldier walked into a Pa...

Re: Do You Ever Dream About Werewolves?

I had a cool waking dream last night. I was listening to Lisa Gerrard on "Music From The Hearts of Space" (radio show on my local NPR) and laid back, closing my eyes. Bingo! Over towards the east side of my room, I saw a wheel turning in the sky, with a smiling wolf's head in the centre of...

The article (or another on the subject; the news has pounced on this story) states that the mercury got into HFCS because it's part of the production process. Get ready for some toe-curling... "In the first study, researchers found detectable levels of mercury in nine of 20 samples of commercia...

Re: Mercury Found in HFCS

You can take 'em back to the store and get your money back. The Chicago Tribune just picked up the story, which means President Obama will be reading about it. The good news is he takes health — particularly that of children — with deadly seriousness, and HFCS products are aggressively marketed towa...
