Re: A beautiful werewolf?
I think the scare-factor in the first Alien only worked in favor of the movie because they showed LESS of the monster's design. I don't think the design itself is scary at all. I've never seen a wolf that's truly scary. Maybe protecting, or agressive, but scary? Nah, I have to disagree with you ther...

Re: A beautiful werewolf?
I feel that the wolves from Twilight are just wolves, since they have no human features at all. Its probably the laziest way to make a werewolf if you ask me. I've got a few gripes with both designs (monstrous and beautiful). With a beautiful werewolf, the whole 'werewolf as a curse' thing becomes o...

Re: The NEW PACK WEBSITE
Webdesign was never my strongest class. My guess is to go with a comprehensible format, for a website. No hipster games, flash, or profiles and such nonesense. The focus should be on the movie, so thats all that should matter as far as the main website is concerned.

Re: Werewolf Classification (A special Name?)
On the other hand, I think it would be realistic to say that not every 'real' werewolf would like to be called a werewolf, because of the relation to the ones in popular (horror) fiction.

Re: love at first bite, why we love werewolves
I generally always liked werewolves, and the concept of transforming into something animalistic and primal. It just makes for very interesting and engaging characters and situations. I did see a couple of movies about werewolves when I was younger, but I think most of them are crap, overbloated none...

Re: They're canines not felines
I agree, they shouldn't be feline. Whenever I talk to people about werewolves, they always imagine them with huge sharp claws. I think the only reason people imagine them like this is to make them look more dangerous and scary (even though that kinda fails). I've even met people who said that they ...

Re: Werewolf Classification (A special Name?)
This is a very old topic, but nonetheless I'm going to have to say that I think its very cliché to rename a werewolf to something else (lycans, were's, etc.) and frankly I think it makes a movie look kinda childish to me. I don't think a proper werewolf movie needs things like fancy names for the we...

I think something like this, but with the Skyrim werewolf (in first person, you can get a mod for that), would be exceptionally fun. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eg8Bh5iI2WY&feature=related Watch that video and tell me you wouldn't love to go werewolf dragonborn on everyone's a** in that thin...

Re: Werewolf Simulation
Interesting idea. I'm not sure how you would simulate having your brain squeezed into a third it's regular space while having your skin turned inside out, but that aside, it sounds like a fun program. We could just work with a werewolf that keeps the regular human brainsize and head size, without i...

Re: Werewolf Simulation
I do see where you're coming from, but I think that a transformation is a lot more then an emotional response. In order for someone to believe it was actually happening to them, it needs physical sensation as well: the feel of growing new hair, bones moving and contorting, etc. Otherwise it would j...

Re: Werewolf Simulation
You're right; but I do believe that with modern 3D technology you can simulate a good portion of the 'feeling' with the right combination of visuals. If you've seen some of the latest computer animated movies, you know that they have no problem triggering an emotional reaction from us as an audience...

Re: What have you always wanted to see in a transformation s
I do love transformations, but I don't like gory transformations where people fall apart, or tear through the skin (which I always thought was a stupid idea, but apparently the majority loves it because I keep seeing those everywhere). I think a transformation scene should look like it could happen ...

Re: Werewolf Simulation
Well, I didn't really think of this as a "detective game" sorta thing. Just a simulation of the transformation into what we think a werewolf should be and feel like (and transforming into one), the scenario could be anything really. Anyone who had a 'werewolf dream' knows what you kind of ...

Werewolf Simulation
I went on one of my brainstorming sessions again, after thinking about the werewolves we see in games nowadays. Mainly, the werewolf in Skyrim. If you think about it, playing as a werewolf in Skyrim (or any other game that implements it well) is great, but as werewolf fans this is not nearly as clos...

Besides the fact that The Devil Inside sucks, "Wer" is seriously the most retarded name for a movie about werewolves.

Re: Claiming Nationality/Ethnicity.
I care much more about a person's personality then their ancestral origin. I'm "part" German, but I don't view myself as a German because thats not where I'm from or where I live. I know somebody who lives here in the Netherlands who's parents are from Suriname, but he was born here in the...
