Heh, yer right...."bad" (and I mean "not good"). What would gve the Werewolf the ability to crawl sideways along a wall? That would have to be magic. It doesn't look real. It looks fake.

I don't mind climbing up a wall - I'm a rock climber and would be a little disappointed if the Werewolves in the movie couldn't at least do what I do. But horizotal wall crawling gets on my nerves.

O.o

Y'know. I am completely out of the loop when it comes to music videos anymore. I used to enjoy those things and, now, I wouldn't know how to begin trying to find one.

LOL

Pardons. I called myself reading the other posts but there was a lot there and I just got in from a motorcycle rally somewhat dehydrated and tired and maybe a little sleep deprived. Just file it under me seconding other's ideas.

I'm going to bed, right now.

Have a g'day mates.

Da, Vilkacis is rght. The board doesn't need a lot of Java script - because WebTV isn't Java compatible and then I wouldn't be able to use the board. :) So, why do we need an expert on Werewolves? I thought that was what this forum was for - to poll the fans and see what they want. I guess the right...

Good move Anthony. The politicos have tasted blood lately and its a good idea to be safe. Anyway, as soon as the movie takes off, I'd imagine that you'll have your hands full. The whole experiment is interesting and I'll be fascinated to know the results. Maybe we'll have a good Werewolf movie final...

Frankly, I don't know of any solid connections, there. The comic book Fables has Bigby Wolf's ("Bigby" as in "Big B" = "Big Bad") father the West Wind (I think - one of the winds, anyway) and I guess that comes from the Big Bad Wolf and the Three Little Pigs and Bigby's...

Yeah, Bernie Wrightson is one of the kings of horror illustration and does an excellant job with Werewolves (He's the one that did the illustrations for Cycle).

"Hey, somebody else remembers Manimal?" I say as I wipe drool off my chin from my toothless mouth and hobble off leaning heavily on my walking stick. "Fancy that," and I walk into a closet and shut the door behing me. "Hello? Is anybody out here?"

If you're only to Blue Moon and you're reading them in order, you haven't even scratched the surface of raunchy.

Actually, they didn't do much at that level - but they did use real wolves. Anyway, I've sorta transcended my obsession with FX. I really would have prfered that they spent more thought on the story line.

I liked Wolf Lake but admit that there were huge gaping holes in the story. The fact that they even allowed the outsider cop to hang around without eating him was incredible. But I read some synopses of the episodes after they switched channels and it looks like they blew out all the stops in bad.

There was a link (On the Cursed thread, I think) on Werewolf Cafe. I'd bring it over except that I'm on WebTV and it would be a majo convolution. But I think the site was the Underworld site. I'll try to find it later.

I've seen some shots of the Underworld II Werewolves and they look much better. Also, I agree with Alpha, as long as they're not bald, rubbery, and anorexic, I have no problem with Werwolves looking different than prior movie tradition (oh, and I don't like slimyWerewolves, either). One thing I did ...

Empathy, and I include reading facial muscles, is individualistic. You have to have some understanding of the individual before you can understand their gesturisms (that's much more true of nonverbal communicaton than it is of verbal). The reason you would have a hard time understanding the expressi...

VanHelsing. The Werewolf in Bad Moon also looked good but the transformation was wonky. I like Metal Beast also but I like seeing Barry Boswick as the bad guy even more. And the Werewolves in Dog Soldiers get an honorable mention, but they need to start using Rogaine.

If you are an evolutionist, then you realize that no evolution proceeds "because" of anything. Evolution proceeds by small random events which are reinforced because some of the events increase the likeliood of survival. The fact that wolves' faces are expressive, in the same way that huma...

Actually, I'm talking about Amslan. I thought we were considering intelligent creatures here. If the only thing that prevents them from using technical information is a dog head, that's no impediment at all. Why in the world would a pack of Werewolves want to shoot a bird yet not know how to carry o...
