Unless I'm mistaken (and most likely I am); aren't most MMORPG systems like that? Your compy becomes a "smart terminal" for some mainfnrame where the game actually happens.
I really don't see how this will affect anything.

Re: What to do with those who claim to be Werewolves
What to do is simple.
A Moderator or an Administrator takes the person aside and explains that it is policy here that Werewolves, Shifting, and honest government are fictional and have no reality whatsoever.
If they keep it up, they usually go bye-bye.
That's what we do...

Hello, Rain. One little thing: We have a policy here that Werewolves and Shifting are fictional, so please treat it as such.
Otherwise, Welcome!

Re: Melding clothing with the shifter
Ahh, Rain; it is policy here to treat Werewolves and the Shift as fictional until such time as "events" say otherwise. I'll leave your post, but please; no more personal shifting stories. And the Ring I was referring to was a magic ring; the causative agent of so many transformational stor...

Re: Venting
Let me point out that here in the U.S. just about every grease patch on a road with more than a very small number of residents can incorporate as a town; a legal person with authority to make laws, etc... Where I live, the laws on self-defence are pretty lenient. If you use equal force to protect yo...

Re: Open source is not piracy
While open source may not be Piracy, it sure as hill supports it. Emerald is the greatest offendor, since most convicted SL copy-bot users also used Emerald; largely because they can use their copy-making programs with it and not have any problems. Open source is good, in that it allows improvement ...

Saint Patrick and the Werewolves (not a rock group)
As we approach Saint Patrick's day; we must feel pity for the breed of dog known as the Irish Wolf Hound. (Can I segue or not?) There have been neither wolves nor werewolves reported in Ireland in many years... 200 for the wolves, and my last family member left the place in 1920 for Americay (aka th...

Since we urge people to do just that instead of starting another thread on the same subject, I must say "Kudos, Fyriewolf; you did the right thing!" Now, in re; Ruining Werewolves: The new Wolfman movie would indicate we aren't even being noticed. Hollowwood is doing remakes that are not j...

See if there is a pre-order available for this item. You may need to contact the people who are considering making the figurine. Hint: Pre-orders are (if available) both appreciated by the makers and gaurantee that if it's made, you'll get one. One warning: most pre-orders are non-refundable. When i...

19) By law, you are forbidden to name yourself after wolves, i.e. "Wolf", "Fang", "Moonlight", etc., unless it has been legally entered into your birth certificate. 19.2) Additionally, try to avoid recruiting people with the last name Wolf or a hippie name like Moonbea...

Re: What makes a werewolf an interesting werewolf
A good story is one where you can take out the characters and still have something interesting to read. Even though the characters drive the story, the story itself should be interesting without them. Think: A classic roadster with a pretty girl standing beside it... if you remove the girl (or guy),...

"The Credo of the Wolf" (I really don't remember where I got this, but it's good in a wolfy way.)
Respect your Elders.
Teach the young.
Cooperate with the Pack.
Play when you can.
Hunt when you must.
Rest inbetween.
Share your affections.
Voice your feelings.
Leave your mark.

This thread has wandered all over the place and is now about 180 degrees away from what it started out being. It was suggested that I lock the thread. I'm doing so, since it's either accomplished its purpose or has wandered away from it entirely. Having done its purpose, one way or another; it now g...

Re: *yawns* sorry if i havent been online in awhile
Look, you have a group in Second Life. Why get bothered by what another group says when you have your own group? Remember, SL is a place chock full of people with differing opinions. Let them (whoever they are) do their thing, and you do yours. That's what SL is all about; doing your own thing in yo...

Kitetsu, as a lifelong Pork-eater, I can say this: You ain't missed anything. Both Judaism and Islam prohibit pork as a food-source. I can think of several reasons. I suspect the actual question being asked is: "Would you risk exposing yourself as a werewolf if doing so would save a loved one's life?" Yes, it does force an answer. Yes or No. :P My answer would be YES. Why? Because I love her. (DUH) You don't think things out when as strong an emotion ...

Remember, all these weaknesses were there to give the hero something to work with. As to the Sodimak-German connection, that is indeed possible; but I got the pentagram thing from Lon Chaney Jr's biography, so maybe both stories are true. For all we know, Werewolves (if they existed) might not be af...
