Re: New videogames

The Dead Space movie is pretty cool, it takes place before the game, and shows what happens to the Ishimura, and provides some other details. It's pretty decent. I haven't played the game yet, and probably are not going to, my plate is pretty full right now with Mirror's Edge, Fallout 3, Farcry 2, a...

Re: Fallout 3

My humor emitter requires recharging. Does anyone else detect a certain hint of mockery when your house robot in Megaton says that he need more time to dispense any more beverages. The way he says it makes it sound like he's urinating into my Purified Water, and is enjoying it immensely. Odd, I've l...

Re: Fallout 3

Been playing it for a while now, gotta say, trying to keep your ammo up is a annoying thing to worry about, but it brings a bit of realism to it. A Rock-It Launcher, or Shishkebab can make this a bit more manageable. Well, until you go through 300 5mm rounds in a bare minute when you get your first...

My username is Wingman on there as well, and I've just gotten down to some serious writing after dragging myself away from Fallout 3. Just broke 10k, so I have some serious work ahead of myself. Well, nearing 30k if you account for the mechanical aspects of the story. It's an addiction, I can't stop...

Re: So whats happening with Freeborn anyhow?

The answer is so clear. AB got bit, and has run off into the mountains to howl at the moon. Which was actually the plan all along, the unplanned part is that he ran away. Production will start as soon as the documentary team finds him.

Re: Let The Right One In - Great Vampire drama movie

Looks interesting. I'll have to keep my eye out for it, though I probably won't see any copied up here even if it comes out on dvd. Why are the Americans remaking it? Just for laughs, or an attempt to ride Twilight's coattails to hopeful big bucks? It seems the current version has won a slew of awar...

Hmm, interesting to see some of the famous names involved in this right now. It seems that Kelly Armstrong has been organizing a team of minions each year. I'd say I'm going pretty good so far, nearly 3500 words so far. Not bad for two days work. I'm really liking this plot I'm developing. Now, if o...

Re: NaNoWriMo!

You know, I just may throw my hat into this ring. I have been bouncing an idea for a webcomic around, but it should serve just as ably for this. Now comes the fun part, having a seizure and slapping my keyboard to create some traditional fantasy names. Then trying to explain this idea in a semi-rati...

Re: Something Different-- I.Q. test.

You're trying to contact someone who knows you. How do you show them you aren't going to kill them? How do you communicate with them? How do you tell them what happened to you? Well, you text them, obviously. Assuming you're at least as intelligent as a preteen, you should be able to bang out "...

Re: Werewolves do they don't know if they are one?

Well, in this day and age, when you wake up naked in a strange place "Werewolf!" probably isn't going to be the first thing to leap off your tongue. In most cases you'll think you've been slipped some kind of drug. Or possibly think that you've gone crazy, or had some sort of stroke or som...

Hmm, one of these. Since it's been a while since I filled out one for a forum, it might be worth a shot. I generally answer to Mac, which is my typical screen name online. I'm six foot tall, currently rather cold in what seems like the farthest North-Eastern town in BC. Yay for snow, pretty soon we'...

As has been mentioned earlier, and this is copypasta from his post, but I agree. Frivolous Accusers: Just because I won doesn't mean I cheated. Fair enough, right? Well, no matter how much of a total n00b someone may be, they'll still insist that someone could only have beaten them by cheating. Thes...

Eh, notify me when they get the whole regeneration thing figured out, I (along with pretty much every military on the planet) will jump all over that. Other than that, biotech is where it's at. Not much point in having an eagle eye when you've got an ocular implant that can do the exact same, and al...

Welcome. I'm not entirely sure you could scare off the people here.

By the by, is your signature cycling through quotes of Acheron Hades? I really need to read the rest of that series.
Well, if you're part of SO-17 then you might make some people leery.

A different kind of beast.

Several months ago I was probably struck upon the head, and so I decided to retool the werewolf and vampire myths into a single unified whole, complete with explanations for things such as Dhampyr(Vampirism is to HIV what...dhampyrism? is to AIDS, so to speak). I don't mean were-things that are half...

Re: Heroes - Season Three

I gave up on it. Season one was great, season two was okay. . . Season three's storyline feels like a bad fanfic written by a Sylar fanboy. In just two or three episodes, they took everything I loved about Heroes and killed it. :P What, you don't like waffles? The writers need to seriously get it t...

Re: Crying/Laughing

I was just thinking, would werewolves be able to cry or laugh in their non-human forms? Crying as in tears, not just whimpering/howling sadly. What would a gestalt sound like if he/she was laughing? I read an article somewhere that dogs 'laugh' by panting. Maybe it would be a combo of the two? Can ...

Sorry for resurrecting an old thread, but I've had this on my mind since I first read it a few months back. The first thing that comes to mind is a limitation for hair and beard length, much like the eyebrows. That's probably the easiest explanation you could get, they can grow beards like anyone el...

Re: the teeth...where do they come from, where do they go to

Yay for my first post. How about two rows of teeth, like what a shark has. A front row, and a rear row. The front row is the person's normal human teeth, but the rear row is the longer, typically-hidden fang tooth. Or however you prefer the order, overbite and underbite. Yeah, it's not exactly the b...
