Hmmm... There is a problem that we have not covered. As the werewolf changes part of their brain will ENLARGE. Werewolves have more acute hearing and smell. The parts of the brain that control these will have to enlarge to contain more nuerons and connections. The way I see the werewolf skull is th...

Hear, hear! Hats! Wolf-ear hats may be a bit too gimmicky though; unless the movie really takes off.

Then again, I see a lot of chicks with cat-ears these days...

It's a bit too dark I think. Otherwise... 8) I would think that when the mouse rolls over any hyperlinked part of the image, it could become highlighted, make it much easier to see (and stand out against the rest of the page). And maybe the unhighlightable duckie could be a secret button that when ...

Heh. I'll agree Disclaimer For My Sake: This in no way is trying to say werewolves are savage-bloodthirsty killers -- though they can play the part very well since nature, at times, knows the harshest of dishes to serve. It's hard to explain what I'm trying to say in a post. I'm used to writing sma...

Werewolves are supernatural so I think that outside of their union with the elements of man and beast they are also spiritually connected creatures. Namely to the elements of nature -- but not so transfixing to forget about the human realm of things. They know when something's up, naturally. Animal...

well, the were-gene theory supports that. you see, the transferrable gene behaves similarly to a virus as it enters cells and changes DNA, but it doesn't erase any of it, it ADDS to the DNA. and the immediate -post-bite symptoms could be the transferrance of the gene through the body and the body g...

I think you would get something like the X-Men (if you saw the movie you'll probably know what I mean). Except that the Senator Kellys of the world would have no trouble spear-heading witch-hunts against werwolves, even IF it is possible that he had reasonable opposision in pursuing the Mutant Agen...

I went to the mall to see my boss's home-made Darth Vader Costume. Turned out pretty good. ^_^ Everybody kept barking at me so I yoweled and hissed right back. Sadly, all the parents in the mall kept bringing their kids over to me and the nose and make-up scared the crap out of them. My own 3 year ...

How was everyone's howleen (halloween)? Here's a look-see into mine. ;] http://www.greatestjournal.com/users/mottenfest/42022.html?mode=reply Page wouldn't load. Darn. Let's see. The govt. would launch campaigns to hunt them down "for their own protection", then dissect them to see how the whole shapeshifting thing works "since they really aren't humans anymore, it's no different than medical students working on cadavers". Werewolves would neve...

well, as we've gone over before it can be done; the only question left is, do we want them to be able to? I'd say yes, as it allows for this sort of thing, which, as already discussed, gives interesting oppertunities for story writing. I can imagine a case being made that most people do not possess...

I recall hearing / reading that when a werewolf dies it will almost always rise again as a vampire, but this is the first suggestion I've heard connecting the idea with the Lubin.

Hmmm....someone should write a novel in which the werewolves have occasional, sporadic seizures because of their shifting. Hmm, that gave me an idea: Due to the complexitites involved with shifting the brain, every so often a werewolf will go berzerk after shifting and attacking people. Re: Oh, for the Love of Monsters!

Ah, so you've read the White Wolf novel Love of Monsters , from which they stole the plot? Hmmm....I don't think they stole the plot from that novel. When it comes to werewolf stories, its real easy for 2 different people to come up with the same ideas. I also doubt the theft was intentional.. Most...

Kavik: What would you do with a chupacabra after you caught it? Take pics and let it free or show it around to people to prove it exists or what?
