My ideal WW? It's funny, I never really thought of that. IMO I think "ideal" is going to depend on different people's likes and dislikes - so there really won't be an single 'Apore' WW. There will be many types -depending on who bites who, etc. So, like in a Pack (shamless, aren't I?) ther...

(Hesitates a second) Okay, I'm gonna wade in here. I first want to agree with the folks that said there is a difference between Satanists and evil. It's all been covered so I won't say more than just "I agree." I believe the original question was something like would WWs become evil when t...

I'm gonna go out on a limb and post on th isone. The overwhelming consensus seems to be that WWs feels something in the case of a natual disaster, stronger depending on what form they are in. Human, some inner sense of unease. Gestalt - a knowledge that something is definitely wrong Wolf - time to l...

I guess to me it comes donw to exactly what's meant. Do I believe in humans who physicall change into a Gestalt form? Or into true Wolf form? No. It's a stretch I can't make. I didn't believe in ghosts/sprits either. But I've had experiences that make me question that negative belief. I'm 1/2 Cherok...

Let me throw something atcha: Chimpanzees - pound for pound - eight times as strong as human beings. Think what a 6ft. Chimpanzee would be capable of. I've seen my 100lb. and 77lb. Dobermans get in a tussle over a wooby (a squeaky toy that is a security blanket - the wooby is sacred). Almost too fas...

ok, we discussed this at length in another thread. I believe in some depth as well. Here's the conclusion: Werewolves in Gestalt form are highly allergic to silver. It is very painful and can cause severe damage - as bad as a 3rd degree burn (however, not identical to one). A single silver bullet co...

I need some more opinions on this before I give a post in Silver's Corner. My own vote is that the human sweatglands shrivel and close as it goes Gestalt. In less hairy form, more sweat glands. In more hairy, less sweat glands, until it goes only to pads and feet. And we did decide before that human...

I have to say that I think the mane, while cool looking, does not match our general view of making the fur realistic. Wolves don't have manes. They have beautiful, long thick fur, but not manes. I think Goldenwolf's art is amazing. However, I think of it more as her inner vision rather than what I w...

A cure for Lycanthropy? WHY? Who would want it? Okay, okay, not everyone wants it. The consensus seems to be that there is no cure for viral Lycanthropy. Things we’ve already discussed: We can always re-hash, but it we’re going to need a way to do it in the film. We HAVE to give the director/writers...

Since Brownrigg said we're leaving this one alone, I won't put anything in Silver's Corner. But MY preference is mutation. After all, viruses mutate all the time. Why not one that mutated long before there were any antibiotics? One that, at first only affected a recessive gene, but continued to muta...

I am going to go back to the original word "Sanctuary", meaning a safe haven, I would suppose. I'm also going to stick with a place for multiple WWs to go, because if we're going to say for only one, then any apartment that's relatively sound proof would do for a WW with control, and that'...

I guess I should add that the canine WW would learn like a dog, think like a dog and react like a dog. The smartest dog ever known is still only capable of dog like abilities to learn. Whoa whoa whoa - who said animals don't have pain during childbirth? Of course they do!! Ask anyone who's ever helped a dog or cat give birth. Ask champion horse or cow breeders or zoo keepers. They certainly do. Animals don't talk, cry, or cuss out the baby's father, so we don't hear it the same wa...

The werewolves are all coming from - That's right, Blame Canada! Seriously, it seems to be the prevailing opinion that there are several places in the world that are pretty sparsely populated, with good roaming and hunting grounds. So any large wilderness area - Canada, Northwest US, Northeast US, p...

Ok I finally finished this, and I'll give my two cents. Not sure it's worth much. If a human who goes gestalt still retains their level of intelligence, memories, basic personality, wouldn't a wolf who goes gestalt retain its intelligence level, memories, and basic personality? It would get big, but...

I almost killed myself laughing. The back and forth between Lupin and marine wolf (air conditioner) was so funny - I laughed so much I couldn't breathe.

Tears in the eyes, and still laughing.

Couldn't let this one alone.

First, if I remember all our postings on the subject, there is no reason why both types of chest can't be used. As the WW flows from bipedal to quadapedal, the chest shape would, I think, have to change. And back again.
