Re: Respect towards atheists

As you seem to have no intention of answering my questions.. Concession Accepted. :) Edit: On reflection this may look petty but to be honest, I just asked a question and Alpha dodged it and just repeated what he said before. I wish he would actually asnwer my questions rather than go off topic and...

Re: Respect towards atheists

So I'm getting a headache reading everyone's convoluted replies, and I think I should be tactless for a second here: How and why should I respect someone who refuses to reveal himself for me to see with my own eyes? And this is the same someone who made seraphims who had 6 wings covering their face...

Re: Respect towards atheists

Morkulv... to simply answer your first question... Yes... If I didn't believe the Bible to be an accurate representation of God, I wouldn't be a Christian. Secondly violence is always a result of human wickedness. Our history is marked with brutal violence, and death is usually the end result. Death...

Re: Respect towards atheists

Silent Hunter... Oh Silent Hunter... Firstly, Love or Hate, CAN NOT be proven scientifically nor in essence analyzed scientifically because they are relative, such as Good and Evil. What love is to one person, might be different to another, the same with hate. They are terms, names... ect ect. We ca...

Re: Respect towards atheists

However, the problem with finding "proof" is what type of proof would you need to prove the existence of God? That's the problem. It's hilariously convenient how god cannot be proven by Scientific method and people just know he is there. It lets him exist without any proof otherwise other...

Re: Loved one...

If I was a werewolf... Eh... let the car hit her... hyuumans are a dime a dozen... In reality, if I saw somebody that I loved, about to get hit by a car, I think most of us, would do everything we could to save the said loved one, even if it meant putting our lives in danger. That is how love ...

Re: Respect towards atheists

Personally I find a lot of people are still pissy with atheists. They cannot take their views being questioned on what is basically a public venue half the time. Some people still treat Atheism like a dirty word, even more so in more higher religious places like the USA, Latin America etc. Luckily ...

As touching Howlitzer... I readily mention that I'm no genius... Gerald actually has a really cool equation to prove his point. I recently found out that they are reprinting the "Science of God" and thus I am going to purchase a new copy, as the one I borrowed from the Library is no longer...

Re: Respect towards atheists

For example... the Hebrew word for "day" as used in Genesis, doesn't necessarily mean "day"... The actual word used through the first 6 days literally means "a span of time" of which is typically used for a 24 hour day. Gerald Schroeder proved that if you were standing...

Re: Respect towards atheists

Why? because it's been edited before... books were taken out of it at one point. Is it that hard believe there were other things about it that might have been tampered with? It's that very fact that can divide the faithful from the fanatics like no other. "You believe the Bible is the perfect,...

Re: Respect towards atheists

The problem that I've seen with my dealings with mosth Atheists I've known, and most Christians for that matter, is ignorance. As a Christian, I'm often floored at the amount of ignorance that floods the Christian world. I would wager that a good 99.9% of Christians have NEVER read the Bible to its ...

Re: Games you loved as a little kid but wouldn't play now

Duck Hunt... That is probably the ONLY game I wouldn't touch. The reality is, I really loved the games I use to play as a child, and as I had a pretty high exptectation for games, I typically only purchased good ones. My folks couldn't afford to feed my gaming addiction so I had to save up allowance...

Re: What makes a werewolf an interesting werewolf

As a writer, the story is by far the most important aspect, and as a writer who writes about werewolves, it has to be integral to the plot. Werewolves and werewolf related tales have always been used as metaphores as far back as history itself. There are good werewolf stories and there are evil were...

In reality, I'm not too fond of having a site with the world werewolf in it... but that is just me. While this site is mostly about werewolves, there are other topics and such that come up and are debated. If anything this site is about nurturing our werewolfry related talents. I would like to try a...

Re: James Cameron's Avatar

You can tell it's a good movie because the Republican Party and the Vatican have both decided to weigh in on it. Heaven forbid anyone should ever be exposed to new ideas or think for themselves. You can tell a lot, both about a single individual or a whole group of people, I believe, based on what ...

Are people really that disgusted with Twilight because it is JUST that bad, or simply because it has just been THAT successful? How in the name of a** am i supposed to relate to a character that says nearly word-for-word, "Too bad I'm not able to pull this off... At least I'm pretty" in c...

Re: Don't see New Moon. I beg you...

Hum... Have you read any of the books in the Twilight Saga? If not, then is it really fare to spear the saga to death, based upon other opinions, or to fault its fans as such? Thus far most critics that I've found of the series, especially those who despise it so much, haven't even read it. This, to...
