Re: What have you always wanted to see in a transformation s

I wouldn’t mind seeing something that focuses more on anatomical accuracy. For example, the way that wolves have six incisor teeth and humans have four. I can’t think of a movie where the person had some kind of shifting or popping motion to make space in the skull and allow the extra teeth to grow...

Re: What have you always wanted to see in a transformation s

Hah! Imagine having to collect and burn/bury/hide all your leftover body parts to hide your trail. What a pain that would be. Remember the scene from The Fly when he opens the medicine cabinet to show off all of the stuff that's fallen off of him in the past few days? ARRGGHHHH!!! YEARS i...

Re: Speech?

Good points - some of this is not so much a question of physical changes in the general anatomy, but what changes might be occurring in the /brain/. The wolf's inner ear is physically different from our own, but how it processes sounds may mean nothing if the brain is still mostly human. A wolf's br...

Re: A beautiful werewolf?

Also note: The reason werewolves have changed has been in part due to a better understanding of wolf anatomy compared to human anatomy, as well as medical sciences advances in general but especially involving certain diseases that have effected a "wolf like appearance". Add to that advance...

Re: A beautiful werewolf?

What is considered "monstrous" needs to be taken with a bit of salt. It changes between cultures. Some cultures fear the color white as it is symbolic of death. while others revere it as a sign of purity. Some revere wolves, others fear them. Seriously, werewolves just are monsters. If the...

Re: moon phases behavior

New moons and full moons often trigger an increase in birth rates. So my OB's told me, and warned me to keep an eye on how I was feeling. ;)

Women tend to start cycling together when they live together, and yes there is a reason for it to be called one's "moon time". ;) *chuckles*

Re: Wolf Behavior vs. Human Behavior Vs. Werewolf Behavior?

To support Two-Six : Certain animal species do have significant physical changes. Again, they are generally small and often involving less "advanced" (in complexity) species like frogs and lizards, but they are still significant- going from male to female not only in physical sex but attit...

Re: werewolf collections

Werewolf collection(s)? heh. Movies, books, some comics, toys both stuffed as well as action figures. It's not as vast a collection as it seems, but I do have the three wetworks werewolves which I'm proud of, as funky as they look. :) And I wasted my money of *shivers* the movie on dvd, Dark Wolf. B...

Re: Why more males than females?

Violence is linked in some major ways to testosterone. The Bull Shark, one of the most vicious sharks on record, has insane amounts of testosterone. Bull elephants, when they hit what's called "musth"(sp), is when they become overly aggressive testosterone pumping breeding behemoths! It ma...

If Anthony Brownrigg gets wind of this, we'll soon wind up with a crowd-sourced hardware store going up, the DIY-Squared.

I think in this film's pov it's a virus or retro virus, as such. There is more there that could be explored, as well. :)

Sorry, fergot to add the smilies. I'm a little less sensitive to crits, especially after I've asked for them. ;) *grins* But yeah, I'm still poking about with a 1024 myself. ;) Thanks for the size heads up. It's saved at 300dpi, so switching up sizes shouldn't be too hard. ;) I wanted a bit of claw ...

Test, this is just a test.

This is a rough WIP. I wasn't sure if I should put this into the art section, here, or what?

Re: Speech?

Agreed with Two-Six. Canine hearing may be slightly different from our own, but that doesn't they /can't/ hear us. More likely we can't hear certain of their vocalizations. As for a hybrid muzzle, the shape of the human tongue is what gives us most of our ability to speak the way we do. Once that st...

Adobe.com won't let you use their logos.

But as far as /linking/? Poor idea, they are going to loose a lot of SEO power doing that.
