He released them to the wild? Legalities do not allow human-habituated wolves to be released to the wild, as far as I know. Reasonable, too, since such animals are more likely to prey on livestock and also get too close to hunters. Are you sure he was allowed to release them? EDIT: Ah, I realize he ...

Well, I actually heard that from someone involved in breeding captive mexican wolves for potential release. Some web search turns out this document too:

As I said, I didn't watch the program, just read the interview, so all my comments are based on that and on my opinion about the idea in general. But I disagree about lost insticts, because it has been tested. Wolves have been and are being raised all around US in captivity, with the ultimate aim of...

Well, I gotta disagree, a shorter muzzle doen't necessarily mean a lack of killing capacity, indeed, mechanically, shorter muzzles can deliver stronger bites (hence hyenas and felines being better biter than canines). Wolves re more adept at wounding multiple times and killing by sheer accumulated n...

Well, wolfman faces have the problem of looking too human, and not wolf enough. We all realize the problem. However, the other common extreme is the use of full wolf faces, which, IMHO, are not human enough, which might not be the best way to go either since faces more than bodies give us our distin...

Pocky is good if you eat a few. But don't try to eat the whole box all at once. Talk about a tummy ache. :P At once as in 'In one sitting'? Or at once as in stuffing your face? In one sitting. I bought a box and kept eating one after the other. Tasted so good. But I ended up getting a tummy a...
