Re: Utterly mad Pack retro-game coop bash!

ah ok that makes more sense =] thanks for clearing it up (ive always just played on battlenet, didnt even know there were other ways!) as far as times, i'm along for the ride. i usually have a family dinner at 6:30, 7ish (EST), so i might hop off and hop back in later, but you dont have to work arou...

Re: Utterly mad Pack retro-game coop bash!

as for the chatting, i think it depends on the game. i still hop on d2 with friends and have no problem using the chat system in game, but i dont know about the other games. i do notice, though, that when i alt-tab to a different window, it slows my computer down a bit (03 alienware laptop: great fo...

Re: Utterly mad Pack retro-game coop bash!

yah, d2 is what made me mention the costs.. my only other thought for co-op would be guild wars (since its a one time pay mmo), or attempting one of the free to play mmos (but they usually have huuuuge downloading times, one i quit playing i found took up 10 gigs of space! i had only been playing fo...

Re: Utterly mad Pack retro-game coop bash!

could be fun indeed! my first thought is diablo 2 (*squee*), and my 2nd thought it that whatever game(s) we pick, we have to make sure they're still available for fairly cheap (i recently went looking for some old games i love only to find they are $80 because they're "rare" now)

Re: Bullet For My Valentine

bullet's awesome, but i agree with wolfward, some of their songs start to sound the same after a while. i usually pick my favorites and toss them on a mixed cd with other bands so theres variation. didnt realize they were welsh though! i dont know a lot about MCR but i know bullets been around since...

arghh im not having a good day... first, this mentally challenged person at old navy decided it was okay to try to watch me while i was in the fitting rooms. now, it wasnt like he didnt know what he was doing. he talked to me perfectly normal, just a slight slur of words and how he handled himself p...

Re: Saving Luna

my only worry after looking up the whale's story, is that the ending will be too sad!! being a documentary, i expected it to end with the whale's death, but not such a tragic, brutal one!! as i read what happened, i literally felt like his life was just another example of how human interference in t...

Re: What places truly relax you ?

Remember what I said about to many worries in my mind? I'll be worried when a hurricane comes and destroys my home. I just rather visit the beach instead of living near one. i'm 10 min away from the beach, but i'm in ny.. we dont get hurricanes ^^ and, like moonkit said, when its super hot out its ...

Re: What places truly relax you ?

the beach! not the type where its wall-to-wall full of people and people's blankets are touching each other.. but just listening to the waves and feeling the water lap against my feet in the soft wet sand.. i can never stay mad/stressed/etc too long there

Re: Why more males than females?

@Noir: In Lunar Pulse , female werewolves can't carry babies to term. The inevitable monthly shift would cause miscarriage every time. :( imagine if the baby changed too? and if they gave birth while shifted... having puppies! god, that'd be a handful, even if they shifted back the same time the mo...

i think it mostly started in the early 90s, so that'd make sense!

i just saw it and i loved it =] the soundtrack was a pleasant surprise! specially the inclusion of the original (read: german) 99 luftballons ^^ 80s music amuses me to much. its long, but it keeps moving and doesnt lag. i think the main thing is that, for people who havent read the comic and don't r...

so far one of the most effective ways ive seen to deal with idiot kids is to go with them - it boggles their minds. example: the other night some friends from college/hs and i were in a chat where one of them was on a webcam. no biggie. but apparently on this website random people can just hop in an...
