Re: Restructure The Pack forums?
I just got back from taking a shower and have had a chance to explore the forums a bit more: I am none too pleased with the "Entertainment" and the "Werewolf Film, Comics, Novels, Etc." sub forum layouts. Ew. I just can't stand all of the sub forums. Can't we just make them all O...

Re: Restructure The Pack forums?
FINALLY. And I LOVE it! Including the changes. Save that maybe the creative den isn't condensed enough, but honestly, I'm not complaining. An idea others might discuss: In my opinion, some of the Topics in the "General" section have the potential to be allocated into a "The PA...

Re: Server downtime
Here's an idea: Perhaps as a minimal incentive, Members who donate can receive a special Pack Title -- something non-obtrusive, and perhaps just enough to let the donating member know that their contribution was received with gratitude. This title could be permanent, or 'wear off' after a set time....

Re: Server downtime
I'm really beginning to retract my previous grievances. The forums have been loading as an excruciatingly slow pace for me today. And is NOT an acceptable amount of lag by any means. I can only assume it's related to the server, because my internet connection is fine. > : ( For the past 3 times I've...

Re: Server downtime
I'm rather split on this issue. I'll first state that I will absolutely support transferring our forums to a dedicated server if you, and everyone else, honestly believes that it's absolutely necessary/desirable for The PACK. But, I personally don't think that the very few short, unexpected down ti...

Re: How far does it go?
About the SA article: 1. Snippets of conversation, originating anywhere and from anyone , tend to sound hillarious and bizzarre. Go to highschool, stop by a random lunch table, and start eavedropping -- I promise it'll sound weird. 2. Snippets of conversation are also generally taken out of context...

Re: i might be pregnant
Vrik: I wasn't trying to condemn you or anything, and there was nothing in your post that was not entirely valid, it just came off to me that, between Murk's post and your agreement to his, Flatline's choice was not respected -- she already stated she did NOT want to abort the child. This is not a ...

Re: i might be pregnant
Flatline: I give you the best of wishes! Although I support a woman's legal right to abortion, but I don't support encouraging it, and I'm happy to know that you are willing to assume the responsibility for your child regardless of your final choice. I hope you receive plenty of love and support. <...

Re: Depression thread
My favorite feline, Opie, suffered from kidney failure earlier this week. We put him to sleep earlier today. I stayed up with him all last night, and personally laid his dead corpse into his grave. I was with him the entire time, and he was in so much pain. I can't stop crying; I miss him so much al...

Re: Legislature banning animal-human hybrids
No animal-human hybrids?! My life is so meaningless now. D x I'm kidding, but on a serious note; I'd like to echo what's already been said here and state that the only reason they're passing this is because it's an easy law to pass, and gives congress an excuse not to confront some of the bigger iss...

Re: Versa-Sylvie-Ressi RP!?
Despite his calm visage, Ressi was utterly torn between his overwhelming fear and intense curiosity. If only I were wearing pants right now, they'd be drenched in urine, Ressi thought to himself. The otherwise methodical and cautious werewolf was berating his brash, reckless behavior just moments be...

Re: Versa-Sylvie-Ressi RP!?
[Ressi is meeting you, because he's following your howl. But he found Versa's territory through one of Sylvie's trails. : ) ] As Ressi entered a large clearing, he noticed the gray-furred figure responding accordingly -- and approaching him at an alarming speed. A twinge of regret flashed through Re...

[OOC: My cat has been VERY sick lately, and it's utterly killing me. So my apologies if my post appears less than eloquent; I'm a little sleep deprived right now. Now, without further ado...] Resiarch Ulfhednar trotted briskly through the silvery forest. As he swung his head to-and-fro in an attempt...

Awwh! I'm so sorry Howlz. I dread the day any of my current felines pass away, and it's so terrible that you had to discover his death in...such a manner. What a harrowing experience.

Micheal is probably just sleeping. Considering that he looks like a cold, pale, gaunt, rotting corpse as it is -- it's a pretty easy mistake to make. :( Outward. . . I am disappoint. . . God rest Michael Jackson. May he finally be at peace. *shrugs* I wasn't an 80's child. Micheal Jackson is nothin...

Jingles: When I listened to your voice meme the other day, I actually thought of you doing this. I didn't think you'd agree to, though. You have a clear, compelling voice and concise articulation. Re: Legendary?
Hmm, could it be based on time since you joined, rather than post count? Once again, this violates our need to keep the 'ranking' to a minimum; we don't want members to percieve certain members as having seniority over others. Or as sugarpoultry suggest, enable the custom title function to replace ...

Re: Legendary?
I think a lot of members originally abandoned this idea for two reasons: 1. We do not want to encourage arbitary posting simply for the purpose of "inflating" their post count and, subsequently, their title. 2. Because the title of 'legendary' is easy to achieve, no emphasis on titles are ...
