Re: The New World--OOC

 No, not in the middle of an airport, for sure! Well, since I'm always thinking around the lines of good storytelling, the best way I can think of Sasha getting furry (nice term by the way!) is after experiencing something dangerous that would result in the need for her suddenly developing enha...

Re: The New World--Game Thread

Sasha frowned after receiving this wish of the old man. It was clear that he really wanted her to follow, but why did he think that she would do that? She’d never seen him before and he was accused of having murdered several times. But then on the other hand there had been this strange feeling just...

Re: Urban Wildlife: Character Thread

Did you want me to post in here as well or is my character form *cough* (that long a** message I sent you) good enough? :D Well, it would be best if you post your character also in this thread, using the character-sheet form JanuaryGray set up in the very first post. Your character is quite fine - ...

Re: The New World--Game Thread

Sasha shook her head a little bit to get her senses clear and looked straight back into the eyes of the old man. She shuddered a little bit after she’d realized what the agents accused him to have done. Then she started to wonder about what just had happened between them. Obviously this man — Harry...

Re: The New World--OOC

I just jumped into the action - well, I made the attempt, 'cause I haven't been in an airport very often. Only once with full awareness, to be honest. Thus I couldn't imagine the surrounding so well - hope, my common sense imagination helped out the right way. Although I couldn't think of another re...

Re: The New World--Game Thread

Sasha had been sitting in one corner of the terminal, waiting with a friend who wanted to get her flight and was a little bit wary about flying in general. They had been engaged in a rather heated discussion about the most recent developments in politics when the disturbing restlessness of the gath...

Re: The New World--OOC

Thunderclaw, don't you think 17 is a little old for a doctor? You certainly meant young , don't you? The following statement isn't meant to offend, but I think Silent Hunter's Stats should also be overlooked a second time - especially his skills. I haven't made the mathematics to get clear i...

Re: The New World--OOC

Ah, okay - think I got the basic idea yet - thanks for that!

I added the moon phase to which Sasha will have an affinity for after becoming a shapeshifter. I also made a little change to her bonuses in wolf form - it's now a +1 for wits, not for strength, since this better suits my concept of her.

Re: The New World--OOC

Nice! Then Sasha will be studying at New York University. They have one really interesting course there, a cooperation between Anthropology and Media Studies - this will be her goal, I think. About the change of Sasha- or Sasha and Rafael - into shapeshifters: Will you provide a trigger-event for th...

Re: The New World--OOC

Ah, thanks for the quick answers and the clarification concerning the talents! That was one question I was going to ask about - as well as asking if there is a mechanism planned for our characters to advance their abilities. As for the starting point of the game I would prefer a city like New York -...

Re: The New World--OOC

That sounds very interesting - so count me in! I'll have to dig myself in the character creation now, 'cause it sounds a little bit complicated in the first moment ... but I'll manage it! Edit: Goodness ... this will take me some time :o And one question: Are born shapeshifters able to shift from th...

Re: Urban Wildlife: Character Thread

All right, then! Since Simon won't come along and pick Rhayne up again at Pike Street Market, feel free to go on with the game from there on - maybe you bump into her, maybe not - it's up to you for now where Erik and Lewis want to head to first. I'll see if I can get some more players and I will gi...

Well, folks ... I have a bad and a good message for you (well, hopefully good  ! Bad one first: Jan doesn't have the time to go on running this rpg. Too much going on during her studying time in ireland right now. She won't have the time to return till June. Good one: She told me that we could...

Well, we could try sending her a pm - I'm quite sure she'll get a message to her private e-mail account that she has one pm from here. Thats the way I found back to the board recently.

Re: Urban Wildlife: Character Thread

Yep ... it's a bit difficult without Jan here - especially with the backgroundstory. I'm not sure if she comes back - she hasn't been online for about two weeks on this board. Question is, how long we wanna wait till she returns or if we want to contact her.

Re: Urban Wildlife: Character Thread

It's okay, Nightmane - just wasn't completely sure about the phrase. Difficult enough to get all things right on the internet if you're using your mother language - even more difficult if you aren't a native english-speaker. So, no offend taken on my side, nothing to bother about on your side ...

Re: Urban Wildlife: Character Thread

I think this is up to one's character. Given the setting of seizing territory we are supposed to fight each other. Given the rule that no one is allowed to kill another ones character makes fighting to death a no go option. Just be clear about what your character is like, what are his goals, how is ...

Re: Urban Wildlife: Character Thread

Jan hasn't been online in a while - more than a week, I think. Maybe she has some probs with the internet or maybe she has a lot of things to do right now. Think we gonna have to wait - at least I'll have to. Maybe it would be a good idea to go on with Lewis and Erik.

Re: What Scared You When You Were Little?

The only thing I can remember what scared me to death when I was really little was the Gmork in the Never Ending Story Movie. I should say what I remember by now, 'cause I'd forgotten this till my mother told me this while watching the movie again some years ago. She also told me I couldn't look awa...

Re: Urban Wildlife: Action Thread

Rhayne arrived at Pike Street Market ten minutes before the meeting time Simon had set for both of them. She smiled after looking at her watch and nodded. "Hah, I'm good," she muttered to herself and scanned the surrounding for a place to park her bike that she had fetched from the Blake'...
