Re: After seven years, an introduction.
Ahoy there. I registered in March 2005 but apparently never got around to introducing myself. I go by Joey Liverwurst, and I enjoy writing short stories about werewolves in my spare time, which is a lot less often than I'd like. I'm not sure anyone who actually knows me is still here, but with Free...

THAT is exactly why this member is not returning. This member gave me a very long speech about it. I think you can guess who does that in their posts.takyoji wrote:However, it could also have an adverse effect of bringing back a few of the bad eggs.

Re: Gathering The Pack
Yes, thats true - but I was more concerned with older Pack members - especially those who were around back in the days when this whole community started. Those folks that got the whole discussion rolling, who created and contributed the overall feeling of this place. Lets be fair here... some of ol...

Thing is, I need to wait a bit. I need to make sure I don't owe on taxes this year. AND I'm thinking on going to A-kon. But money is tight these days. :( Same here. Didn't contribute to Red Victoria because I was broke and unemployed, and the situation hasn't really changed much since then either. ...

Figarou, you know I always wanted to meet you in real life. You seem like a fun person to hang out with. :D I've meet several pack members at a convention. (A-kon) That's probably the only way to meet. @ABrownrigg Are credit cards the only way to contribute at indiegogo? I rather use Paypal. I will...

Re: A CALL TO ARMS
Seeing that indiegogo started in 2008, it would've been nice if you went that route when this place was highly active. Now you need to re-assemble the pack. If I was you, I would send out a mass email to all pack members leading them to your post. As for making the pledge, $5,000 is to much. $1,000 ...

*gasp* :o I was getting to the point where Freeborn will never be made. But I didn't give up hope. I'm still lurking these forums. Re: Regarding 'Freeborn'
Are werewolves over-saturated? No, I wouldn't say so. Unfortunately, they are associated with what will undoubtedly be the greatest shame of our generation for centuries to come. I speak, of course, of the Twilight series. Werewolves aren't over-saturated so much as plagued. There's only one movie ...

Even if you have the money AND equipment to make a life like computer animation film, it's possible for it to have the worst openings. Look at "Mars needs Moms." The computer animation was mind blowing. But why did that film bomb? Look here. ---> http://www.newsy.com/videos/mars-needs-moms...

Re: IS thepack slowly fading away?
Well, that's always possible, but I'm trying to stay optimistic. Considering how much difficulty he had in marketing the darn thing, it's entirely possible he just got completely burned out on the whole thing. You've also got to figure it's probably irritating to see all of the crap werewolf movies...

Re: IS thepack slowly fading away?
Well, I'm quietly hoping he's just really busy with this Don't Look In The Basement project thing. I'm trying to stay optimistic that he hasn't given up on Freeborn just yet. After seeing his journal entry at DA, I can't say the same. He asked us want we wanted in a werewolf. That's how this...
