Re: In Human Clothes

Are you, perhaps, implying clothing markers? An item of clothing that works similarly to the duckie, so that one werewolf might become suspicious that another is? Such a thing would be easy to hide in a sea of trends, if they changed it frequently enough. This reminds me of the blank badge that cert...

Re: One Thing You Want To Do Before You Die

Unravel the mysteries of 2012!

Really though, before I die? I'd probably want to try and achieve as many altered mind-states as possible, just to see where that gets me. But I have a long time ahead of me before I do that, and more usual desires to fill in the time.

Re: Bona to vada, pack.

Fig returns, and posts in my introduction thread, no less. Made my day, that.

And though I expected duckies, I wasn't quite expecting lycanthropic duckies! I think I'd like a few of those, for "research" purposes...

Re: Has it been 4 years?

And the Pack sees its fourth anniversary, pleasing that is, too. I can't remember how long I've been lurking around these boards, but I remember when I first came here and having thought what a fantastic (in the literal sense of the word) place it was. I enjoyed it twofold, in that there were some w...

This time, I shot for the most awful movie I could think of, at least that would fit the letter.

Re: Depressing moods...

I find the same.

That and I just don't want to bring the Pack down, as I tend to get even more depressed when I manage to depress someone else, and that's just a bit of a vicious circle, really. I'm almost tempted to go and set my mood as happy, to help restore the balance.

Well I'd like to see it, so don't feel too bad, Matt.

Though I find the irony in this case rather irksome, as I have no idea when the movie plans to show up here in ol' Blighty, but I'll keep an eye open for it.

Re: Yo.

The duckies certainly do go back a way, don't they? There was a thread about them recently, and so mired in the history of the Pack they are, they've become important. Something of a marker here, an icon, and one to be represented in Freeborn even, should it come about. Regardless of all these thing...

Re: New videogames

Neverwinter Nights...the first one was absolutely brilliant and the second one did not dissapoint Especially Mask of the Betrayer, I think that was the first game in a long time that was able to have me both laugh and cry. I really wasn't happy when that one ended, and mostly because it meant that ...

Re: What does it mean to be a werewolf?

What does it mean to me? I suppose that first and foremost it might just be a form of schizophrenia in my case, I've a Wolf in my head and he's managed to convince me that we'd both be happier if we were in his form instead of mine. Beyond that, it's breaking down the perceived walls of reality, the...

Re: Fallout 3

That NPC sounds particularly wonderful, and I like his imagery. I'm really going to have to track this fellow down. As for Dogmeat, he is fairly insane. I actually had trouble keeping him alive, because I got him fairly early on, I became wholly acquainted with the "Dogmeat has died" dialo...

Re: New videogames

I've just picked up an excuse to play Neverwinter Nights again, in this case, the sequel's latest expansion. That game is never going to release its grip on me, not ever . Since I uncovered Neverwinter Connections, and the joys of teaming up with fascinatingly unbalanced people through that, the add...

Re: Past Lives

The question of the increasing population of humanity is an interesting one, and that assumes souls as a singular whole, thinking on this topic lead me to an interesting conclusion. If, perhaps, souls were a resource and part of some whole that was mined up by a birth, simply that we take a chunk of...

Hm, spongypants isn't the only one who changed with the new poll, though. The last time around, Gevauden seemed to be doing quite well, and I liked him as an option because he's always struck me as helpful and humble, two qualities which are very important for a moderator to have, but this time it l...

Re: Lets talk about fear and lycanthropy

Indeed. I don't think you should feel threatened by this thread, Vuldari. The commonality of this thread would seem to lean towards recognising the Werewolf as an evolving theme, as opposed to dictating what the Werewolf should be, and thus in turn fighting what it should not. All things evolve with...

Metal fan that I am, I'd heard waking the demon before, but I hadn't seen the music video. That was really fun. I just wish they'd had the budget to create a buff, quadrupedal critter at the end, that would've made it magnificent . That's just a personal preference thing, though. As it stands, howev...

Re: Wolf and wolf-dog sanctuaries and rescue-centers...

It's interesting that this topic came up... I remember back in the mid 90's (1996 according to IMDB) there was a BBC mini-series which actually dealt with this question in a roundabout way. The end result was a Werewolf becoming feral and living out their days in a wildlife reserve. It was called Wi...

Yeah, but he forgot to come back and bite the rest of us. 8) That's some love he needs to spread around. Of course, it has to be noted that only on a Werewolf forum would getting bitten be considered as spreading the love around. On topic though, I'm really hoping we'll see Freeborn at some point. ...
