Re: National Transgender Day of Remembrance

It's not forcing you to accept it - just giving an acknowledgement to what's happening. People do need an awareness of what crimes are committed and why. If people know they can't just pass it off as whining or such - there's real discrimination, hate crimes, happening here. Then there should be a ...

Re: A.S.V.A.B.

Grats! That's pretty crazy good. Of course, if you want infantry (and a surprisingly large number of people do) I wouldn't find that surprising, honestly. I imagine lots of folks join the army with the idea of infantry in mind - get your uniform, your helmet, your gun and go shoot some dudes for you...

Re: National Transgender Day of Remembrance

I think days like, "National Transgender Day of Remembrance" is a bad idea. Yes it is unfortunate that a person was killed solely because of the lifestyle they lived, but trying to FORCE people to accept it as a normal or should be acceptable, is wrong. People have a right to agree or dis...

Re: Don't see New Moon. I beg you...

"A real life vampire would kill you! A werewolf would bite you and then POSSIBLY kill you! It's not romantic!" I don't think that's true, really. As much as I hate Sparkly vampires and other "pussified, watered down monsters" I think going to the other extreme is just as silly. ...

Re: Gaming Industry Unfair to Werewolves ?

I don't understand what you mean by extra work, Aki. You give the various departments their jobs and they'll do it, just like they would any other roster of models and characters. There was this fighter, Bloody Roar, where all of the characters had an animal alternate form. I know what you mean tha...

Re: Are there playable werewolves in Dragon Age: Origins? Yes!

Wolfyena! I saw my roomate play through the bit with the werewolves and was all like "YES!" when they stopped and started talking and calling out the elves on stuff (but, playing an elf, my roomate didn't much listen and things got violent, poor wuffs, :( ). Nice to see people have put the...

Re: What to do with a human who knows too much?

Wrong or not, I would kill him. There is no way I would ever compromise my pack. Family first. People can dismiss a man who claims to see a werewolf as crazy. They can even dismiss pictures in our digital age of Photoshop. But when that man turns up dead , it's going to start a hell of a witch hunt...

Re: Gaming Industry Unfair to Werewolves ?

It's not really a problem modelling say, two different characters. It is when it's for a niche market. Especially when both those models need to have nice, fluid animations. And both those models are for the same character. Meaning your art team is doing the twice the work for a cast of werewolves ...

Re: Gaming Industry Unfair to Werewolves ?

An extremely popular and mainstream video game for console had a werewolf as the protagonist. It came out for the Wii. Remember it? That little Zelda title? Yes, but see, that's a title from an extremely established and popular series known for good gameplay. The wolf thing was something new and ne...

Re: Gaming Industry Unfair to Werewolves ?

I would love to see a werewolf-themed game on say, Unreal Engine 3. I want it on the cryengine 2 with all the lush outdoor open world where you can have several ways to tackle an objective and blend in with the environment and climb trees and ready to strike. Unreal Engine 3 isn't real good at crea...

Re: Werewolf: The Apocalypse: Heart of Gaia (mouthful!) Clips!

As for the transformations, yeah they were pretty funny too, I was rather surprise that they made the werewolves talk in their beast form. Yeah, that happened alot in WTA - one of the ways this game would have been faithful to how the RPG actually plays out, haha. Little reason to use any forms but...

Re: Werewolf: The Apocalypse: Heart of Gaia (mouthful!) Clips!

Ive seen a few of these videos on youtube, especially the intro. I wish someone a good developer would make this game and have it similar to Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodline. Interesting non the less, thanks for the link Aki. :D Watching it kinda made me glad it died, to be honest - it wasa clear ...

Werewolf: The Apocalypse: Heart of Gaia (mouthful!) Clips!

http://www.megavideo.com/?v=FB64INKA Found this on FA earlier today. It's pretty much all the cutscenes from the (cancelled) 1999 WTA game. Figured you folks might want to have a watch - it's old and the graphics and therefore kinda s*** but it's entertaining in a way, though it's clear the game wou...

Re: Gaming Industry Unfair to Werewolves ?

Werewolves in video games suffer from the same problems as those in film. - Werewolves are a niche target market. Compare to two other big horror monsters - vampires and zombies - who have an increasingly larger market (lots of people like vampires, and tons of people love shooting zombies in the fa...

Re: Werewolf spell on ebay

I have yet to see a spell represented in mathematical notation, that's always been something I'm curious about. Hmm, I suppose I'd also settle for a functional system of written representation of a spell. You know, now that I think of it, math does seem like it would be an excellent medium for a sp...

Thankfully, I only had a mentality similar to that when I was like, twelve and swiftly got better. As a furry I don't hate humanity (quite the opposite actually, being as I love technology and civilization), and I kept my s*** on the down-low because, y'know, if people wanted to know, they'd ask, ri...

Late in saying this, but s***. That was awesome to see when I was driving back to my dorm on Sunday. Moon was so big and orange . Like something out of a movie. The fun part was on Tuesday in one of my classes a group had a presentation about China and mentioned it, along with the myth behind it (wh...

Re: Champions Online has Awesome Werewolves!

I have to agree with Pariah on the homing missile stuff. It's ridiculous. I've had a few instances where it seemed like half the damn desert was sniping me. With rocks. And blasts of radiation, which, by the way, homes around stuff . Very annoying. I guess the intention might have been to discourage...

@Aki Energy builders do next to no damage, their purpose is actually just to provide you with endurance. There are other ways to get endurance too though, endurance regenerates outside of combat (but only up to your equilibrium, that little I in the middle of your endurance bar, your equilibrium ca...

Re: Champions Online has Awesome Werewolves!

Also can you use your enviroment attack/defend? Like can you rip off a street lamp and clobber people with it? I'm assuming they haven't changed it much since the City of games, but the closest you'd get to that was a ability to rip up a chunk of concrete and hurl it at an enemy. I personally liked...

What does the key do Vagrant? Does it activate the game itself like a normal key or does it do something online related? On top of that do you have to buy the game THEN put in a key or just put ina key on the trial version? It activates the game like a normal key. So you download the client, plug i...

Re: What to do in case of lycanthropic outbreak?

I don't get it why some people always want or dreamed of a Zombie/Werewolf Outbreak and have the werewolves as mindless bloodthirsty monsters that feasts on human flesh like zombies. If some of the masses really won't one, well tell the Government that. And the Government will create a real outbrea...
