Re: Werewolf Music Videos

that kind of violent karmaic story reminds me alot of the crow. I love literature that explores vengeance but that movie was so simple and tragic. I really bloody loved that movie.

Re: Ratchet & Clank appreciation thread

Fair points, but I've not played tools of destruction and to say it's a superior platformer to mario galaxy...a reasonable call. I mean mario sunshine, good as it was, I can understand. Shine Get!

Re: Venting

I have to agree. What are Christian principles? What's found in an old book? The reactionaries who indeed uphold these pronicples are precisely what keep many from greatness. A persons personal code of conduct almost always holds more merit than the silly and often barbaric laws of that religion. ED...

Re: Venting

That's the paradox. Of the things I think I know, I know some of them not to be true. But if knew what those were, I wouldn't think that I knew them. Who needs qualia anyway, right?

Re: I have an interesting question

I suppose that depends if werewolf blood is unique or has any special properties at all. You might posit it has microorganisms that protect from disease and it had trillions of platelets to heal faster, but maybe a vampire wouldn't metabolize microorganisms as such since they are dead.

Re: Sadness

I saw the artwork for the werewolf - very cool - and the game looks interesting, or at least novel, in its attempt to be immersive and atmosphereic. The game got delayed at some point but I think it's due for 2009.

Re: New videogames

With that said, I think Neverwinter Nights is actually a pretty poor RPG. I think that like most tabletop RP's that published a game the idea was that the story would unfold. So while there is no doubt I would pick Baldur's Gate over NWN, NWN implemented combat and mechanics beatifully and told a s...

Re: New videogames

That's what I love about Neverwinter Nights, with the original the community told some powerful stories I've also heard that NWN2 has some kickass usermade modules already. instead it opts for a more open World with more choices available, allowing the player chance more to forge their own story in...

Re: New videogames

Neverwinter Nights...the first one was absolutely brilliant and the second one did not dissapoint. It adapts the D20 ruels extremely well, and NWN2 has taken many hours off me. Is storm of Zehir worth it then?

Re: Past Lives

My honest opinion? Both belief in past lives, pseudoscience like regression therapy and such have propagated due to false memory syndrome, suggestion and confirmation bias. People also look for mystical safety blankets to affirm the value or novelty of their own existence in the face of anomie. I've...
