Re: A-Kon 20

Eeeps. Passport procurement. In the USA that takes at least a month of waiting for it to come in the mail while they do all these background checks and clearances. I have to go through it soon myself for a trip to Canada. Anyways, I have my room situation all sorted out. I'll just have to trade some...

Re: Restructure The Pack forums?

I certainly hope we're still doing this. Very soon I'll take all of the suggestions so far and compile another up-to-date proposal that we can discuss.

Re: IMPORTANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This would make at least a little sense if it happened on April Fools day. Though, I see very little importance in forum statistics. Anything from total members to total posts, it all comes down to how much constructive conversation takes place to make the forum worthwhile. Ah well, dispite what mys...

Re: AHHHHHHHHHHH SILVER

During the Dark Ages, before werewolves were associated with being able to shape shift, silver was thought to have spiritual properties. It could ward off demons, spirits, vampires, and such related things. Crosses made of silver were often worn on necklaces for spiritual protection. Even gold cross...

Re: Soul Calibur IV

I got quite frustrated with the game. I used to be an avid Soul Calibur II player. I even won a couple of public tournaments. The gamers that never experianced that well-balanced masterpeice of a fighter game enjoy Soul Calibur IV emmensely. However, to my dismay, it isn't anywhere near as balanced ...

I'd hate to put him on the spot by asking him about it. He's not really expected to post here. It is akin to answering fan mail. You can, but you don't have to. If he shows up at A-Kon 20, I'm willing to bet someone will ask him about it regardless.

Re: A-Kon 20

Dang. I'm starting to miss the analog era. The digital age cannot be beaten by the oldness of my school. Oh wow!! I hope this still works. That isn't a bad idea, however, most hotels I've stayed in have hardware locks, which are difficult-to-remove plastic coverings that prevent tampering. I have a...

Websense has only one blocked catagory that I disagree with.

"Tasteless"

A lot of good websites and forums, especialy humorous ones, were blocked with this catagory as the reason.

I still think it's probobly a Mexican Lobo. They thrive in Mexico all the way up to the middle of New Mexico and Arizona.

I know we can't use the hotel's LCD TV's unless someone pays extra to unlock the "video input." If it doesn't cost that much, I'll see about getting it "unlocked." If someone can give me a discription of what the locking mechanisms on the back of the TV look like (or what they'r...

Re: film's release

Lets just be satisfied with the fact that it's still weighing heavy on his mind. AB wont walk away from this movie. Not after all the time, hard work, and social networking put toward it. It will see delays, but not a cancelation. If he wants to stay hush hush with us regarding details its fine. All...

I'm 23, and bringing a bottle of Jager. Its mostly for Saturday night when I share it with some buddies. I don't like getting drunk. I just like the feeling of one or two shots warming my belly. I have the final plans ready. Wednesday I leave to go to Lubbuck to visit a friend who's driving the seco...

Re: Restructure The Pack forums?

Just to voice a concern real quick, I think my postings here are being interpreted as 'the last word' or something. I'm only making suggestions the same as everyone else. If there's a majority agreement to any ideas posted, we'll incorperate them. The only thing this itchy admin tag will do is put t...

Re: A-Kon 20

What it's looking like is probobly me rooming with Scott & Co. on Thursday, and then in the "Rabbit in the Moon" costuming troupe's suite on Friday and Saturday. I'm one of their spotters, so I'd have to be there for them from start to finish during their walk-around. Nora's huge Kigar...

Re: A-Kon 20

It seems to me that most of us don't make the Pack meeting the highlight of the convention, but rather enjoy the convention like everyone else as a group. I'm torn between three different groups of people I'm meeting up with at the convention including this one, so I have a lot of planning to do. :l...

Re: AHHHHHHHHHHH SILVER

I think there's a lot of passion for what people beleive a werewolf should be, to the point people want to defend it. There are so many version of werewolves. Some are built around science, and some make no sense at all beyond the explaination that it's magical. All are legitimate regardless because...

Re: A-Kon 20

It looks like a good possibility that I'll be rooming with either Scott, or the group of costumers I went to Furry Fiesta with. Waiting to see what the latter has to say first, but its still a bit far off to be sure. I should know by the middle of this week what my room situation is, but I'd really ...

Re: Restructure The Pack forums?

That is an idea; Werewolves in Multi-Media would cover a lot of disparate sections that take up space now. You might also try: Werewolves in Print: Comics, Novels, News, etc. Werewolves in Media: TeeVee, Movies, Games (as commentary) That I agree would work best. There seems to be a desired in the ...

Re: Restructure The Pack forums?

My thoughts on some recient ideas. Using subforms (if the PHP forum allows it) could be an option to explore, and I'll tamper with a hidden subforum for testing to see what other settings I can squeeze out of it. I of course agree with keeping the artwork forums seperated, but at the same time, woul...

Re: Restructure The Pack forums?

I'll just say this right here and now. I'm merely trying to act as the mediator of this project, taking in ideas and compileing them into the new forum structure, which is all I have been doing. Once we are at a majority agreement in this thread we'll act on it. Any overthinking of how we discuss an...
