How about knitting? The Wulf would save his/her pelage (the part of the coat that sheds twice a year), combine it with either Llama hair or Sheep's wool, have it spun into yarn; and knit things like sweaters, etc. for friends to wear and to wear him/her self as a joke on the Werewolf-seekers roundabout.
Knitting would also improve hand dexterity and coordination in new-made Werewolves. :shift:

Another "hobby' a Werewolf might enjoy is being on Boards like this one, confusing and mis-directing people away from his/her People. What easier way to keep the Secret than to give people "interested" in Werewolves a series of red-herrings to lead them away from things. A Wulf might also use a board like this to meet and contact his/her fellows, via the PM function.

Last, but not the least; a Werewolf might well enjoy Parkour, but said Wulf would have to be careful not to be "too" good at it, risking unacceptable questions about "how'd you do that?" Another related hobby might be "speed-shifting", since the Wulf is virtually helpless while shifting between Smooth-skin and Fur-skin. Faster is safer. rvt

They might like chasing frisbees, too.

Duckie tossing should be the Official National Werewolf Sport.

We're actually working on getting the shedded wolf fur from our shelter spun into thread. We're planning on making braclets and selling them for some extra funding. So far we're kind of stuck on the production process, but once they're done we might be able to make a few available on the internet. Who knows?

hmm. *nods head* Werewolves are powerful seamstresses. They would need to be if they expect to keep their cloths from being shredded to pieces.

Enhanced sense of smell and hearing could give one an incredible ability to read other people. It would make werewolf social skills pretty astonishing.

And, it would make them really killer poker players.
Taking a Gestalt approach, since it's the "in" thing...

I think there could be several things
1) Hunting human contest
2) Demonstrating superior werewolf prowess
3) Killing other creatures (if they exist i.e. vampire etc...) for trophies

Other than that they'd enjoy some human hobbies in human form... depending on the human of course

Hm. I never knew "Parkour" was widespread enough for there to be an actual word for it. I actually already have a werekin that does Parkour in my book already -- he gets nicknamed the "werekangaroo" because he alludes them by jumping across the rooftops.

If a pack did do parkour, it would be just among pack members at night when nobody is watching. My reasoning is that it's a talent which could come in handy, but at the same time, it's not something they would want anyone that knows them as human beings to know they have.

Remember in the "how to handle hunters" thread how I suggested that werewolves could intentionally mislead a hunter? If a werewolf in human form parkoured his way out of a tight spot, the first place the hunters would likely look for him is among the kids that parkour in their free time.

Beyond that, I think most werewolves would take up hobbies they could do indoors by themselves or in small groups. My reasoning for that is that a werewolf shouldn't be running around outside in gestalt form if they can avoid it, so if you're like me and you assume that werewolves who shift have to remain in that form for a period of time before they can shift back, I imagine most time spent in gestalt form would be spent sitting around inside away from the windows watching the clock to see when they can shift back.

Granted, I'm sure nobody likes the idea of two werewolves sitting at the table having a staring contest or playing Yu-Gi-Oh, but there's only so many ways you can quietly blow an hour or two. :P

Just re-read the title and noticed that "exclusive" thing there. Guess that means Parkour and SSBB don't count.

Hmm. . . Honestly, I don't think werewolves would have any hobbies that a normal human being couldn't do. Some things would be much different experiences in werewolf form, but there's nothing I could (seriously) name at the drop of a hat and it would instantly be recognized and understood as a werewolf-exclusive activity.

I figure the most encouraged games and activities would be those that could help werewolves adapt to their new senses, so in all seriousness, the best thing I could picture werewolves doing is playing some kind of "Name That Tune" game where the werewolf would have to listen to songs from his very own CD case and identify them with his wolf ears. :P That is seriously the only thing I could think of that I might have been able to say with a straight face.

What about ancient roman chariot racing? All you need is a driver and 1-2 wolves to pull the armed chariot, an oval dirt track, and melee weapons to incapacitate your opponents.l

Well not scent-tracking, but tracking in general could be done in human form. Like I said, the activity in one form would be different in another, but there's little to nothing to keep a human being from trying it.
