Yes, I remember seeing a comic strip from The Far Side about cows standing on two legs.
1st frame- standing cows.
2nd frame- One cow says, "Car" (Or was it "Car coming.")
3rd frame- Car passes as the cows are on four legs.
4th frame- Cows are standing again.
I think I missed a frame. But yes, Barnyard as elements from the Far Side in it.
Or the one with the troubled wolf teens would often resort to smoking quack and they have ducks in their noses.Figarou wrote:Terastas wrote: Hm. Very The Far Side, isn't it?

Just reminded me of Figarou
"Nam Sibyllam quidem Cumis ego ipse oculis meis vidi in ampulla pendere et cul illi pueri dicerent 'Sibylla Ti cupisne' respondebat illa 'Cupio mortere'."

Nix step one and you've got it -- it was a three-frame strip.Figarou wrote:1st frame- standing cows.

Although bipedal cows made appearanes in a lot Far Side strips -- not just that one. Not many bulls to my knowledge, but plenty of cows.
And as for the gender confusion... Only Nickolodeon could get away with that.

Of course they do. It's a known fact that nine out of ten American kids know all the swear words and where babies come from by the time they are eight years old, but nine out of ten American parents would rather pretend that their children don't.Shadow Wulf wrote:why dont they just show the male part on the guy cows, its not like the kids nowadays dont know.

I told my co-workers about this movie while at work today (mind I work with horses and we are no strangers to animals of all sorts) and we all thought it was just absurd that the cows in this movie are male! Or at least, have Male voices.... it's just odd.
anywho... it does look funny!!!!

Dude, they shoulda just given them female voices. Or removed the udders and added horns. I would be ok with them having no sex-distinguishing organs, but I am no ok with them having the wrong ones!
Having said that, I'm gonna go see it anyway. It looks funny. I also like the use of the David Bowie song. I'm a big fan of that song, cause it has my name in it.
