Wolf

Post by Silverclaw »

Not a werewolf film or anything but its about wolves :D Wolf is a full-length-animated movie. I'm a storyboard artist for it; it should be coming out 2007ish. Its going to be a good one! 8)

Interesting, an independent venture looking to recapture the glory days of Disney animation. From the concept art I saw, they've got a good head start. It sounds to me like a very furry thing: portraying wolves in a positive light and all. I'd be willing to bet at least one of the artists is a well-known furry artist, though I've seen quite a few people whose style fits in with those pictures.

I really like the shots of Luna. I'm intrigued, to say the least.

WOW!! The artwork is AMAZING!!! They all capture the complete beauty of the wolves and the nature scenes. I hope to see the product of all this. Great job. *I'm still browsing the site*

I saw this a while ago, but yes it does look excellent :D

Its good to see someone is still trying to use the tradtional techniques in animation even with the advancment of technology nowadays.

Yes. I've seen the website and hope to see it.

Ochiba: Yes, it is a very small world sometimes. Its amazing how big this world is, yet sometimes small. Like now you just met someone again.

*Its a small world after all! It is my world after all! I shall rule all the earth, with my evil demon llamas!* I mean..errr...

Oh, I looked at the website again. Looks like ye've changed it. I'm happy its a traditionaly drawn film, wow, you have to hnour that. Yet I sappose you'll have alot of workers on it! Truly not all of it can be hand drawn can it? Lets take Emporers New Groove for instance, they were hand done but for certain props, such as the wagon Kuzco was put in when Pacho was leading his llama home after finding out his hill shall be Kuzco's new summer vacation home, was made as a 3-D thing and then the computer made it look hand drawn. Thye did that with several props, yet was mostly hand drawn.

Yeah, I think if all goes as planned, it should be very good indeed :D The whole thing will be 2D animated. Characters will be colored with computers though, and the elks will have rotoscoped antlers from digital models. (Rotoscoped antlers were done on Bambi as well)I believe thats all. And yes, it is privatly funded; donations and Wolf merchendice, ect.. :D
It is indeed a small world after all :) Good luck with Luna!

Ah yes! I remember going by this page at several points during the development and I really wish all those involved with the project luck!! What sort of release are you looking at? ((If it's on the page, I apologize, I'm responding here before clicking the link again >> ))

It really is looking quite nice! And my kudos go out to animators!

Yeep *points up* that was me >> I didn't notice it signed me out.

And what I meant to say is that I really respect people who do animated films - I don't think that people realize the work that goes into doing them 0.o

Sure she doesn't already know about us?

Freeborn could be out before then; it's projected date on the probability curve lands it some time in later 2006. By 2007, we could each have memorized it from our Pack Edition DVDs.

Oh, and two names on the concept art sketches ring a bell: "Silver" and "Jack." Anybody we know, real or in any scripts?

Arania- Thank you :D
