So what did you watch when a kid? TV shows and/or movies.

I LOVED The Care Bears and My Little Ponies :D
Other tv stuff I like was DuckTales, Winnie the Pooh, Gummie Bears, Gargoyles(older), and a bunch of stuff I cant remember right now :D

Movies that I watched was a ton of Disney. Bambi, Cinderella, The Jungle Book, Dumbo, I could go on.
Liked the first 2 Home Alone movies and The Never Ending Story.
The Care Bear movies was a hot item, as well as The My Little Pony movie 8)
And Don Bluth movies. The Land Before Time, All Dogs Go to Heaven and An American Tail 8)
Ahhh, good, good times :D

Aw geez, that's a long list. Well... There was a time when I just watched whatever was on, usually whatever my brother wanted because he kept giving me (and still does to this day in fact) that "I'm older" crap. Still, I did have a few programs that I enjoyed enough to go upstairs and set up this crappy B&W TV to watch, which included:

Mighty Max
Road Rovers
SWAT Cats
Cybersix
And the hardest for me to admit: The Noozles

There were probably others, but my memory's pretty fuzzy about everything from when I was twelve years or younger.

As for movies... Damn, that's another long list. There were plenty, but the only one I still love to this day were Disney's Peter Pan (just ignore the kids and watch all the slapstick between Hook at the crocodile) and a Disney short of The Reluctant Dragon...

Oh, and uh... If you can believe this, Akira. Way back when, my dad had that wonderful mentality that if it's animated, it must be for children, so I saw that movie for the first time when I was six years old...

And he was half-right I suppose, because of the three of us (him, myself, and my brother), he was the only one that wanted to turn it off. "No no Dad, this is interesting!"

Hmm, I'm not sure. The name sounds familiar but it's been so long I don't know for sure. All I really remember is some shelves and the rat.

Does anyone remember back in the day, when the weekday cartoon lineup was actualyl different form the saturday morning cartoons, and there were new episodes during the week! It really irks me now that on the WB all they play during the week are the same shows as the weekends, just re-runs.

My favorites growing up were x-men, animaniacs and the Disney afternoon (Chip and Dale's Rescue Rangers, Darkwing Duck, Gargoyles, Duck Tales and Tale spin)

And as for films, they are some of the same films that are my favorites still...Last unicorn, watership Down, Secret of NIMH, All dogs go to heaven. I also loved the benji films and anything with animals in it really.

Ah yes, the Disney Afternoons :D Good stuff 8)

Anyone remember the Benji movie where he is stuck in the wild? He takes care of the cutest little couger cubs :D I loved that movie! Though I always got upset, maybe even cried when one of the cubs died
And that big, black wolf scared me sooo much! Always trying to kill; gave me nighmares! Thankfully, I love wolves now 8)
