Nope, I'm referring to someone in the article. There was a 'Net discussion after the main article and Pezzer was this lamoid who flamed everyone and wrote atrociously.

Oh, I see. I thought you were referring to a member of The Pack in some other discussion. Sorry about that.

I've been on Midnight trippy treks up into the Bickerton hills, (Its actually Harthill, about 30 mins drive onto the far side of the Cheshire plains) and even though there were about 8 of us with torches, it was still VERY spooky(granted...things were chemically enhanced, but still..). We stumbled on 2 caves, there is supposed to be more up there. And I believe a local pagan group hold a solstice on the top of the hill. The landsape is very rural and could easily harbour some unseen, unidentified beast.

Oh and thanx to Lycanthrope for posting the fixxed link. I've fixed the original one now too. (I'm an inexperienced computer illiterate  )

that pezzer guy really got me angry. like he has any right to tell anybody what to do and what not to do. like Vrikasatma said, he needs tho read Spellin Made Easy before he starts telling anybody off. :x

Hey, LUPINE, I have a question.

I'm trying to find this thing on a map, but I'm using a crapulent American map which doesn't label geographical features (like Cheshire Plains, or Bickerton Hills). I think I've got it, but I'm not sure. Is this place in the southwestern corner of Sir y Fflint? (Am I even looking within 100 miles of the right place?).

There's already a thread on this (http://calypso-blue.com/werewolf/viewtopic.php?t=586). Can they be merged?

For the werewolf story, look around Denbigh in North Wales.

The Bickerton Hills and Harthill are around either Bickerton, Beeston, Peckforton or try Burwardsley. This is in Cheshire in the North west of England. I would imagine Bickerton is your best shot.

Also try Google Earth. You may find if you turn the community's on in the side menu that there is a listing or flag for these areas.

Try these in a search too and it may help locate where youre looking for...

The Bickerton Poacher (pub)
The Coppermine Inn (pub)

Good Luck.

I'll try and find a bit more info for you. :D

Interesting. Very interesting. I have never been to that part of Wales, but it seems to be a place full of legends. (The Red Dragon of Lake Bala being another).

Would this happen to be related to the re-release of Wild Wolves to the forests of Bwets-y-coed?

Like I siad before, Interesting.

Wolves were re-released to the forest of Bwets-y-coed to re-establish the extinct wild wolf poulation of the British Isles. According to my knowledge, this occured in the mid 1990s.

I do believe I have not heard the story of Beddgelert.

I'm hoping to go to Wales sometime and wander about in the werewolf-rumoured areas - I should get on with it as Wales is only a couple hundred miles away from me.
Also Wittlich in Germany.
I might be too nervous to go near Gelert's grave...
