When I saw the teeth on that thing in the YouTube video (between about 00:30-00:34), it scared the CRAP out of me.

That is either a bear, a gorilla, the biggest freakin' dog alive, or a real werewolf.

I'm gonna go lock my doors and hide underneath the covers now. Glad I don't live in Michigan anymore.

It moves like a bear, and there are bears in Wisconsin. There are frames of it leaving the ground, again bears "leap" when they run.
The teeth (upon freezing the six frames that showed a mouth did show fangs-but wolves have double front fangs and this has single front fangs...bear, not wolf.
Also, the style of running is bearlike; side to side, almost as if the rear end is trying to pass the front end. Wolves run straight on, not with this sort of wobble.
Finally; the attack is pure bear in its form and agressiveness. A wolf alone would not attack a human, nor would a Werewolf. Bears, on the other hand will charge anything they see if they're hungry.

My opinion (for what it's worth) is that this is a record of a Bear attack.
Side note: This shows the limits of electronic imaging. Film would have rendered a better image record at the magnifications used.

I cant really offer an argument against the bear idea, the only discrepency seems to be the ears which point straight up and are pointy. its really all just a matter of opinion and willingness to believe i suppose.

It's not a bear. in one frame as it's running you can see it's digitigrade. Bears are plantigrade.
My best guess is a really fat akita or chow.

That it might be. The resolution on the image is terrible and I couldn't be sure of the plantigrade feet. The odd side-to-side almost waddle is more bearlike than canine, though.
And domestic dogs don't have double fangs either...

Given the area, (residential) it's probably a dog.

Hey, this was one of my first posts way back when, and I'm gonna necro-post/revive it, because it is now a confirmed hoax, which everyone is probably already aware of, but still closure is always nice.
