Indeed, when I woke up I thought the house across the street had installed one of those superbright security lights. Turned out it was the moon directly in front of my window. Pity that it was almost below the treeline within a few minutes of that.

Late in saying this, but s***. That was awesome to see when I was driving back to my dorm on Sunday. Moon was so big and orange. Like something out of a movie.
The fun part was on Tuesday in one of my classes a group had a presentation about China and mentioned it, along with the myth behind it (which includes awesome things like ten suns showing up at once and a dude with a bow and arrow killing nine of them.)
