I saw the cat one and I was highly amused. Great find Howl. It makes me wonder how animals would adapt and cope in space. I know they took up spiders into space but little else.
"Religion and politics
Often make some people
Lose all perspective and
Give way to ranting and raving and
Carrying on like emotional children.
They either refuse to discuss it with reason,
Or else they prefer argumentum ad hominem,
Which is a hell of a way to conduct a discussion."

Re: Time Travelling Higgs and Weightless Cat....
The Higgs Boson forbidding itself from being created sounds almost straight out of a comic strip, but I've often wondered about whether future events designed to travel through time could be influencing the present or the past. I once read someone suggesting that the Titanic sank because of all the stow-away time travelers adding weight, because every time traveler seems to end up there sooner or later, on board the ship right before the iceberg.
Taking a Gestalt approach, since it's the "in" thing...
