Terastas? Anybody?
Sheesh. Never thought I'd miss the old flame-fests.

We probably didn't want to ruin the forum any more with needless bickering

I was actually considering posting this topic too, but I know someone would accuse me of voting for Romney because of my posts years ago that suggested that I would. That was years ago and I know better now, which is why I would vote Gary Johnson if I could this election ( did not register in time >< )

I stuck with Barack. Of the two candidates, I trust him more... which isn't saying much, but Romney just seems...

well, if you're white, straight, male and rich, he'd be the perfect president for you.

The rest of us... yeah...

Well said.He didn't get my vote because he has a tendency to put his foot in his mouth(not the only reason),further than some others. :P

Y'know, I don't really think that Romney is all that bad -- but then again I'm using Bush as my yardstick for Republicans these days. The reason I voted Obama was of the crowd backing Romney. If he wins, he's going to be in bed with the Christian Coalition (rape is part of God's big plan -- and homosexuals should be re-programmed), and the Tea Party (free-market unsupervised by any government oversight whatsoever -- because, y'know Bear Stearns, Leighman Brothers and AIG all worked out soooo well).

Anyways, Obama won and the Republicans still have the House. Goodnight.

Yeah, despite the fact that Florida is still not sure where it's electoral college votes are going to go. This time the country is going to bed, and generally ignoring them. This was much more satisfying than 2000.

So... Um... HILLARY 2016!!! WHOOOOOO!!!
:D

Normally I don't touch on politics with a ten-thousand foot pole, but the s*** Romney did that made headlines for me to see, read, and speculate, made me genuinely worry about what kind of nation America would devolve into if he was the president.

In fact, I imagined he'd be the type that secretly backs neo-nazis that put up live witch hunts and public executions of non-heterosexuals.

I don't know about that. Remember that most of the really absurd garbage that came out of his mouth did so during the primaries. Given how extreme the core of the GOP is, you've got to expect some of that. I don't think Romney is nearly as psycho as he tried to make himself out to be to Tea Party and Christian Coalition whack-jobs. Remember that he's from Massachusetts, so he's really more of a moderate Republican. I think he would've governed quite a bit more to the center than everyone assumed.

Pro-choice:
The (cliche) point of the political hook doth prick up the ears of the disillusioned voter with a sharp jab to the sensibilities.

Pro-legalization:
The hook sinking in, with the exquisite pain of realization.

pro-environment:
The hook barb is embedded in the mouth, the pain fades. So far so good.

pro-ban on cooked meats:
Clandestine population culling based on stupidity levels by planting unhealthy ideas.

pro-de-clawed cat government hand outs:
Incidence of cruelty against cats skyrocket in slums and ghettos.

pro-public leg humping. (also known as prop 85):
The incidence of sexual harassment sky rockets in the teen population.

pro-lunar cycle elections:
Feed the vibe, man.

pro-alternative property claims (also known as the "pee where you like" mandate.):
Along with sexual harrasment comes an increase in indecent exposure reports.

pro-government vet care:
Putting animal health care in the hands of a government that promotes de-clawwing cats.

pro-Congressional hunt day (once a year eat your least favorite congressman):
The American people unite in celebration.

pro-tax cuts on spare clothing manufacturing:
Werewolves revitalize the economy through a revolution in the textiles industry.

Curious manifesto, I think AB's vision for the future of werewolves is...inspiring  .

The Meeper.

I'm pretty proud that this place didn't erupt in Election bickering.

Yep, I second that outwarddoodles, although I think AB over there took one too many political rubber duckies to the head :ducktoss3: .

Your party's nominee is a big stupid doo-doo-head, and he dresses funny too.

If I'd known you felt that way, I probably would have changed your mind soon enough. :P Romney was my governor after all -- I know from firsthand experience why a Romney presidency would have been a nightmare.

Be careful about complaining too hard about Romney. Newt could've won the primary instead. After eight years of "W", you should know better. The Universe is listening, and Karma sucks.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not suggesting Gingrich, or any other of Romney's primary opponents, for that matter, wouldn't have been equally horrific as POTUS. I'm just saying Romney wouldn't have been any better either.

Aww I forgot to check back at this place during elections. Missed what little discussion we had here. Voted for Obama despite my disappointment.

Negative Ghostrider... Sorry, but I most strenuously disagree. Newt would've been a much worse disaster than Romney. Romney at least has some history of reaching across the aisle. Newt is a complete psycho bastard.
