My personal therianthropy is a bit different. I am wolf all the time, the only thing that changes is how strongly I feel it. But yes, when I'm emotional or angry, I feel the inner me much more strongly.
As for the therian vs. furry debate, I see nothing wrong with either. I have therian friends, I have furry friends. *shrugs* Honestly, I think they're sort of like yin and yang, two sides of the same, if not very similar, coin. ^.^

I suppose I've experianced it multiple times. Though mostly when I'm in a state of extreme emoution or stress. My mind just kinda goes into a more primal state... Either that or I have weird multiple personalities.Darth Canis wrote:Since we are on the subject of therians. Do any of you other therians experience "mental shifts" when you experience extreme emotion like anger, fear or happiness. I am just curious if this is just me or if it is some of you other guys out there. I am not doing this for attention or anything so mundane i was just wondering if it is something that others of you out there experience.
You've ever experianced something called a 'phantom shift' Darth Canis?

yeah i guess i could say i have experience phantom shifts before. The additional limbs thing with the tail and ears and all of that. Yep i have had those, they come out of nowhere too mostly when i am outdoors out in nature but sometimes even when i am walking around the mall for some reason i feel a tail swinging behind me its soooo incredibly weird but very cool at the same time.
The little girl who always wanted to fly an x wing and be raised by wolves... Come to think of it she still does.
