I guess anything by Credence Clearwater would be really cliche, right?
Hmmm. . . How about "Switchback" from Celldweller?

I know the lyrics don't ever specifically say "wolf" in there, but I still think it works.

Here's an important note: In this case, werewolf songs don't actually need lyrics that spell "werewolf", "moon", "howling", "teeth", "prey", and "conquest". IMO it's the music that's more important as it conveys the situation.
In other words, instrumentals are sometimes better choices. Song titles are pretty much just for cosmetic purposes. Well, at least that's what i believe.
But i think we have a problem on our dining tables.
A werewolf song of choice that i've chosen previously, "Bloodstained Lineage" by Daisuke Ishiwatari, from the Guilty Gear X2 album, sounds too ambiguous, most likely due to the song title alone, also having ties with the connotations of demons and vampires. The song itself is very unorthodox, as well, having sounded like a speed metal concert in Dracula's mansion. Perhaps TOO unorthodox for many who are unfamiliar with this song.
On the other hand, there's other people's choices, like "bark at the moon" by Ozzy Osbourne, "Down with the sickness" by disturbed, etc etc. I happen to disregard these songs, because:
- The connotations are much too obvious
- I've listened to most of the songs mentioned, and the mood IMO isn't really consistent with werewolf-related situations
- I'm very biased/strict/embittered with western music.
This kind of problem also happens to art, prose, and cinematography, and...
Um...
I dunno why i typed all that up. Maybe i wanted to get this off my chest. I mean, for once, i agreed with Morkulv on another thread with a similar subject as this one, so, uh... Nevermind me?

Everything from Full Moon Lycanthropy (too bad they split up).
Creedence Clearwater Revival - Bad Moon Rising (OS for American Werewolf in London)
A song of Sonata Arctica that I can't remember.

Are you just going by title? I don't feel the need to explain mine, just listen to the damn things.Kaebora wrote:Some of these songs don't even seem like werewolf songs at all. I'm talking about songs that aren't labeled as "not werewolfish, just cool". I'm curious about what brought some of you to your conclutions on those songs.

Such language. No I wasn't referring to your song choices. I'd better not say who's though, but its all a matter of personal opinion.Set wrote:Are you just going by title?
