I only know the Werewolf: The Apocalypse series from name and sites on the internet, because its not distributed in the Netherlands.

From what I've seen and read on the internet, it is a "McFarlane"-comic? Is that right?

Thing is,
that's nothing like how they're described in the game,
AND that's official merchandise!

Supposedly,
the design of their blades changed over the centuries,
from a full sword
to a short, wide blade,
which features blade-catchers angled outwards.

I made a prop for a klaive once that had the correct rough shape
as described. It had 2 sticks forward at an approximate 45-degree
angle. Actually the Klingon "dk tagh" is nearly identical to the klaive-
only differing in materials, and in adding a blood-groove.

Sweet. I think I can see glyphs for the Weaver and Vampire on it, but I'm not sure what the others are. Is it in good condition? (i like shiny sharp things)

I've seen this on Ebay for $225. It looks more like a Zulu spear than anything else, but of course the pommel has to be long to fit in a Crinos' paw.

My attempted translation of the glyphs:

"Weaver" (probably a reference to the hardness of metal, or "fabrication")
"Child(?) of the Moon's Land (?)" Probably a reference saying, "This is made of Moon silver."
"Fire of Honour."

"Fabricated out of Moonsilver for Honourable Ferocity."

I made a wooden klaive just as a romp — physical weapons, even replicas, are forbidden in LARPs and what good is even a wooden sword in tabletop? — and the glyphs I carved into it read "Full Moon" "Honour" and "Thorn of the Rose."

Different LARPs have different rules.
STRICT rules say "NO PROPS."
However, every LARP I ever attended allowed props,
so long as they were approved in advance,
and OBVIOUSLY not anything a weapon.

My klaive, for example, was a 12-inch ruler with runes,
with eraser-ends of pencils attached at the 45-degree angles.
Right shape, obviously a fake.

Hello to everyone. I'm looking for a werewolf klaive and have been doing so for some time. I'm willing to pay well if someone is willing to part with it. I would be extremely grateful for anyone's help or guidance in finding one. Please feel free to contact me. Thanks again!

Since in-game, each klaive was individually hand-crafted, you'd probably be better off finding a swordsmith at your local Ren Faire and commissioning them to make a klaive for you. Silver's pretty cheap these days but if you want to keep it within budget you can get it made in stainless with a silver plating (today's silver price was $18.55/oz).
