What kind?

A lab. :D

I want a husky also, but for my first dog, I think I'll start out with a lab.
They're easier to train.
Once I become a more experienced dog owner(in terms of taining), then I'll eventually get a husky.......and name him or her Anook.. :D

Well, that depends on the dog... I have a black lab and he's a great big sweetheart, but he doesn't mind anybody no matter how hard we try to teach him.
From what I've heard, yellow labs tend to be the smartest, but they're all great dogs.
If you just want an animal companion who loves you with all it's heart, a lab is definately the way to go!

Well, I don't really care what color lab I get, but I guess if I had to choose, it would be a yellow or chocolate.

Thats exactly why I want a lab.
They're not only cute, buy very loyal and friendly to other animals.
I have a cat so I hope everything will work out well between them.

Oh yeah, especially if you get it as a puppy. I doubt you will have any problems. Mine is about 9 years old and puts up with a half-grown kitten and a bloodhound puppy glomping him all day.
He's a great big old goofball, but very gentle and patient with those who annoy him. :D

Yeah, I plan on getting a puppy.
I just hope my 4 year old cat will get used to the pup.
Thats the only thing I'm worried about.

I read about this on Myspace. I was skeptical. I said, "Broadcloth vegetarianism in the core doctrine? Fine if you're an elephant-shifter. What happens if your phenotype is a carnivore? Go ahead, tell that Tiger he can't eat that cow."

It's my usual suspicion of organized religions of any sort. My spirituality does just fine without a "sacred text" and an official intermediary.

Tom Cruise had been exposed as a scientology purist. That would now be a fact.

It was actually an experiment set up by L. Ron Hubbard to show how people would join anything, just to feel a sence of belonging. Looks like it worked too well

So many scams. Let me guess, if you buy the book, The Therian Temple's special Nigeria headquarters will send you millions? :D

Scientology, lol. I agree, though, this reminds me of scientology a little.

I found this rather disturbing. But, if you like reading spooky things, it's definately fascinating. The creepy music really adds to the effect.

Cult Bashing Time :P Please note that like Anook I intend no offence, nor do I claim to know everything. Just my opinions. Also I am considered a 'therian' also, but have decided to refrain from use of the term for myself...I am just spiritual in my own ways. 8) Weird I know.
HUMANS ARE INCAPABLE OF GAINING THE KNOWLEDGE.
Therians are Born, and not made.
The carrying of the Knowledge may be sought out by Humans, but it can NEVER be attained.
This is a gap that cannot be bridged.
"Therians" Are human. They are not a different species. They are not Homo familiaris or Homo lupus. They can interbreed with others of their kind...their kind, the humans.

1. DO NOT PARTAKE IN CANNIBALISTIC ACTIVITY.
As part-Human and part-Animal, we are not to eat the flesh of either kin.
We must maintain a plant-based diet.
I guess they can eat people with plant souls (I guess you could call those phytothropes. They do exist).

Wouldn't that only apply to humans and one/few other species?
I gotta agree to that as well Night Rain  I'm a strict vegetarian but I gotta agree they termed that wrong.

It does look like a cult site.

All the red and black.

I just can't believe these people made a religion out of it.

Its completely stupid.
It looks horrible doesn't it; the work of a bored twelve year old. (Of course, I could be wrong, but heh)

And of course 'Therian Powers" All "Therians" and "Shifters" have the power, no one needs to sign up to some stupid website in order to attain "power" and the "power" isn't really a power either, it's just a mind sort of power in my opinion that humans can also possess. Did anybody see their badly made logo? What on earth is that, the Wolf Man? Also, lack of explanation about "Therian Magic". Unless I missed something which is also pretty likely.

As I said I seriously don't mean offence. But it's funny as hell
