As for the Freeborn premiere, if its in Dallas, or any Texas city, I'll try and be there. I just hope it falls on my day off. The closer to my home town, the better chance of me going. I'll be using up my vacation just to go to Project A-kon. If the premiere happens after April 2006, then I can put in for a one day vacation to be at the event.

Maybe release parties could be organized for each area. You know, a gathering in San Francisco, one in Seattle, one in Philidelphia, etc. It would save on pack member traveling costs. Course, it would take a lot of organizational skill, not to mention money, if these were to be official parties. But I'm sure that, using this forum, we could gather people around nexus points to go to a nice restaraunt and then see the film, or something.

I had originally planned to do something similar, but I decided to go with something more generic...

That, and I didn't want to mess with all those frames!!! (38 frames? Ouch)

Adding what I did and still getting your name to animate correctly was a trick. The delay between every frame had to be exactly the same, and the whole animation had to be a multiple of 5 frames.

And then, I also didn't want to make it look like big, bad Figarou

was picking on poor, innocent little werewolf

1/8th his size (poor thing)

Yup. 38 frames. To bad I can't use the one I did as an avatar. The more frames, the bigger the file.

I was going to do the same thing. But since I changed the frame rate on a few frames, it'll affect the name as well.

I'm giving some serious thought to coming down for the FREEBORN premier, when it happens. There's enough lead-up time where I can pay off some debts, scare up some shekels and come down.

Anyone else from the PNW or California that wants to carpool on a road trip, let me know.

I have some friends in Austin who'd probably get a kick out of you guys, too

eh...hey AB? Just wondering if you were aware of the growing filming industry in Louisiana? We're becoming a popular state to film movies in, because the tax is cheaper or something. If Freeborn were filmed in Louisiana, and the premiere was in New Orleans...let's just say that would rock my world!!!

ROAD TRIP TO NOLA!!!

Been about six years since I've been to the Crescent City, going on seven, this old warrior woof ain't afraid o' no leeches! She got da power du Loup et de Damballah and Ayida Wedo!
A premiere in conjunction with Mardi Gras would be perfect timing beyond all reckoning.

Actually Louisianna is not a bad idea.. Texas is trying to pass the same Incentives for film production,but has yet to do so. Indeed, many projects are going to Louisianna and New Mexico.. We'll have to see about that.
