Postcards from a werewolf! ( RE: Matt needs a roommate!)

Post by MattSullivan »

Well, it finally happened. My new job is about to start...and I had to move to California for it.

My job starts soon, and I was hoping to rent a room or something to that effect in the Los Angeles area. It'd be nice to get that room BEFORE I begin work. ( preferably close to the santa monica/wilshire area ) Here's my email.

beerbeastredux@yahoo.com

So, any LA area werewolf fans need a roommate? My only requirements are...

No A-holes. I like NICE people.
No drug users ( or heavy drinkers or smokers )
No LOUD people.
No super-slobs
No super-furry furries ( regular furries, sure no prob )
Someone who respects my privacy.

Hope I don't seem too demeanding. I just want someone of QUALITY. If I can't find a werewolf roomie it's no big deal..i just thought I'd check here first.

Well jeez, if you're going to put restrictions on it...

*takes a puff on cigarette in one hand*
*takes puff on marijuana joint in other hand*
*tries to figure out how to drink beer from bottle on coffee table whilst both hands in use*
*turns TV on real loud*
*sits back and surveys pig-sty apartment*

I mean, really. Some people have no manners. :D

Too bad I don't have my own home, nor that I live in California... I don't think Oklahoma would be close enough for you to get to work day by day... :D

However, Matt, I would like your new tele # (EI my e-mail I sent... :P)

I fit all that criteria just fine, and suprisingly, is almost the same criteria I would apply to my own future roommates. Heh.

No plans to move to California, yet. Still visiting colleges. California has two i want to go to. Two are in L.A., and one is in S.F.

Maybe we'll bump into each other again one day.

Might as well add one more requirement if you're looking for a "werewolf roomie."

No shedding fur on the furniture and carpet.

That looks like a basic list of what anyone would want, if someone took that as demanding they main be a loud A super slob.

Nice people are great, no one wants drugged out drunks, loud people are too load, slobs are too messy, and privacy is important, I do have to look up what makes a super-furry.

A Super Furry is someone who wears their FurSuit around the house, all the time*, or is so into the Furry scene that's all they talk about.

*Unless that's a Werewolf fur suit...and it isn't a suit...

Or maybe a Bigfoot... :roflmao:

so.... no cape is involved? here I thought it would be someone wearing a Disney character bedsheet tied on their back and armed with an adult diaper, a fursuit they bought at a garage sale, and an unusually large plushy with *holes* in it.

This daily dose of sarcasm all coming from a reasonably stereotypical furry :P

in all seriousness, there is little to nothing wrong with wearing a fursuit at home, but when you sleep daily in it, THEN, thats going a bit far. I know a couple people who will wear their suits at home on occasion and wear them to the door to greet strangers. I couldnt understand why until I stayed over a couple days and a Jehova's witness came by one morning to introduce us to their beliefs..... then I understood completely. XD

I live in California! My city, Alhambra is only about 30-35 minutes from Santa Monica. But I am still young(?) :? and I have College starting soon. I wish I can join you as a roommate, Matt.
