For those who play World of Warcraft

I am sure that you all know this, or don't know it. However, If you play world of WarCraft, Blizzard Entertainment is coming out with a new expansion for it called "Cataclysm"

which they will put in two new races.
-Worgen

-Goblin

I would recommend "Worgen" since alot of us here are lycan fanatics, and Worgens are like us in a way.

If you wish to reply to this, please do so :)

Yeah when the worgen were announced about a year ago, there was a thread about it. I'm definitely excited for it.

I despise everything WoW ever since I lived together with two liveless nerds who did nothing in their lives other then playing WoW all day long.

I'm really not feeling enthused in the least about this, or any potential WoW expansion or update. I used to play, because my friends did, but then they stopped and there's no real reason for me to play any more. The game fails to stimulate me on pretty much every level, and the last time I tried to get back into it, when the last expansion was released, I had to download several gigabytes of patches. In fact, I think the necessary updates exceeded the original game in size, and my ISP charged me several hundred bucks for exceeding my download limit. No thanks, once was twice too many for me.

I know how you feel. I let fans of things get to me too. Heavy metal has been ruined for me because of the nerds who are into it now, for example.

The difference is, most heavy metal fans actually have a social life and can be trusted when you share a house with them, to make dinner and do other chores around the house when they are supposed to.

And yes, they did ruin it for me. But to be clear, I have played WoW for a few months. Got to level 40, got bored, and quit.

edit: Also, you cannot get addicted to heavy metal, contrary to WoW.

The model for the male worgen was updated and seems to much more badass than what we saw a year ago:

From www.worgen.info wrote:Well it's pure pwnage obviously. The first model was more of a puppy style for faggots I mean they aren't cute nice little puppy's they are cursed vicious feral beasts just cause they regain their sanity and control etc doesn't mean their appearence should look any different.
Be right back, gonna punch someone.

Ok this post isn't about Worgen, but here is the title music for Cataclysm. Definitely cinema quality work. Epic, epic, epic, worth listening to the whole thing.

Reminder: World of Warcraft Cataclysm comes out December 7th.

It will include the ability to be a werewolf, and to subsequently ride a dragon into battle. A werewolf on a dragon. Contemplate that awesomeness for a minute.

There's also an impressive looking cinematic that the beta got (I guess it can be considered spoilerish? don't think it really reveals anything that's not already known, but I guess a warning is still in order if you want to see it in game first)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L1921vEfD0s

Also an interesting bit of lore about where the Worgen came from, from an item in the beta (as above, don't look if you want to be surprised later)

I'm not really all that interested in WoW (non-private, non-persistent worlds; bleh), but the Worgen have captured my interest.

Well, I hope you guys are happy. Months of constant clashing opinions and one hell of a mountain of post-change complaints later, Blizzard is sticking with this retardo she-wolf design because they've had enough of listening to you.

Hardly helps when the WoW community are reputed to be terrible people in general.

Wow, what a gross misrepresentation of the in-game model. Of course it looks like crap on a white screen, no lightning, zoomed all the way in, probably low texture settings, with the worst possible frame they could choose.

This is what they look like in-game (barring customization):

I don't think that looks bad at all.

I just now created a new Worgen character to experience the starting area. Incredibly late, I know. Needless to say, I think that any werewolf fan would get an absolute blast out of this experience. The storyline is top notch and the atmosphere is fantastic. There's something for everyone here: gothic romanticism, traditional horror, monster werewolves, "good guy" werewolves, even some comedy, the works.

Now if only buying the original game and all three expansions wasn't so costly.
