Portal
It's scheduled for release the same day as Team Fortress 2 (10/10/07). As a huge fan of puzzle games... I'm definately getting this one. Who thinks it will drive you insane? I for one hope it has a deathmatch mode. That would be wicked!

This thread needs more love. I just played through Portal and it was pretty win. The puzzles weren't particularly challenging, aside from Test Chamber 18. Though, it seems there are advanced versions, so I may try those out. Or try to get the rest of the achievements I didn't get on my first run.
Awesome game. Buy it.

Waaaaa no friggen cakeKaebora wrote:The advanced versions are insane, and the game overall is a great brain teaser as it makes you think four-dimensionaly. So much better than mindlessly blowing stuff up like most other games.

Also, it was funny going on to play Episodes 1 and 2 after playing portal.
It was hard to get back into the "Gravity gun puzzles" mindset after having portals, heheh.

I just bought it today. I played it for an hour and I'm almost done... Thank god there's three other games for me to play (no Live for me...).
And I'll probably replay it at some point. It rules, and has an awesome sense of humor.

Anyone ever heard of Narbacular Drop? It was a student project made by the creators of Portal back when they were in school at DigiPen and before they went to Valve.
It's a puzzle game where you use portals marked with orange and blue to maneuver around and solve puzzles.
