Hope they weren't out of everything this time. And, I hope they knew the convention was coming.

If A-Kon was weird, I'm afraid to ask what a furry convention would be like to the neighboring shops and restaurants! The wolf points at the sheep--"I'll have one of those."

Sadly, Anthrocon is over :( But it was damn fun! 8)
Shopped in the dealers room most of the time. (Got me some nice stuff 8) A WW t-shirt, couple of art prints, a WW fanzine, a kick-a** wolf tail and more!) And I hung out with the Wolf staff members and ABrownrigg/Pack members a lot :D Talked a bit with Timothy Albee and the creators of Teenage Mutent Ninja Turtles(Autographs as well)The chinese restrant was nice, had the food listed on the menu and everything. Sweet and sour chicken, rice, dumpling and a coke lck We had a script reading from a couple scenes. That was quite fun. I shouldve won a freakin Oscar as Donna! :P  Learned more about Freeborn, acting rehersals, and 'the biz' :) Anthony and everyone else I met are really nice :D I recieved a Pack necklece that I wore proudly :) We had a lot of fun 8) Hopefully we can all meet up again at AC next year :howl: :oo :howl: :oo :howl: :oo

(Oh, and I was one of many who slugged Anthony with a rubber duckie! )

Sounds like fun; I wish I'd been there.

Though my brother/roommate has just announced his fluke plans on leaving me with the rent and pretending the $4000 he owes me doesn't exist so he can move to Vegas to become a croupier (though I forsee him becomming an Elvis minister instead), so... Anyway, I'm hoping he's serious, because that means I definitely won't need to worry about him screwing me out of my AC savings next year! :D

I'm with Fig on the "Darn it, I missed it, but I was there at A-Kon" camp. At some point, we'll have to do another get-together. As is, I doubt I can make DragonCon, however. Still, if the Brownriggs are going, maybe some of us can go and follow them around, wagging tails.

You can post still photos, but not video.

I didn't have a rubber duckie, but my throws arent that accurate, so I would
have beaned an innocent bystander.

AnthroCon was held walking distance to Philly's Chinatown, so we were
able to find places that weren't out of everything. :)

Sadly, we were NOT able to go to Lee Ho Fook's and get a big dish of
beef chow mein.

The script scenes were cool and matched expectations.
This is a REAL story with REAL dialogue and REAL characters.

I'm glad the Hurricane didn't stop Brownrigg from making it,
as it DID stop SOME people.

BTW,
Brownrigg really DOES read all posts. I haven't posted in a while, and he
remembered ME, which doesn't happen often.

AnthroCon next year will be in Pittsburgh.
Start working out your travel plans, those of you in the northeast area. :)

I think attention next year's AC will go thru the roof-if we show a
videoclip or trailer or the like at a table, a scheduled event, or both.
This time, tho, all of us "in the know" got to spend time with the
director and get stories and things.

I missed the scene readings *cries* I totally forgot about it since I was so tired that morning. But the con was still awsome and I loved meeting everyone. I hope you guys with cameras post pics soon!

Yeah, I'd had no idea about the scene readings either. I'm sorry I missed them, from all accounts, it sounded like a good time. :(

But meeting up with Anthony was a blast. A bunch of people stood around and just listened to him talk for two hours (at least, while I was there). He's a consummate actor, and it was really enjoyable to watch him go when he got started.

And to anyone who didn't go, you have no idea what you missed. That con was the best thing I've ever experienced. I think I'm still feeling the high from it now.

I agree meeting Anthony was a blast =) He was very very animated and very personable. I had a ball listening to him about the movie.

It was also fun passing out duckies to throw ^^' at him heh.

Oh yeah, forgot to post 'em here. Most of them are pretty poor quality, but there is one pic of me and Anthony Brownrigg in there.

Had a Great time at the Con! Very cool too see some pack members in the flesh. Had a Blast reading the script and having Anthony speaking about the ins and outs of the Movie Buisness. Anthony has a extremly charasmatic personality and could moonlight as a motivational speaker. This production is in good hands!

Sounds like a great time was had by all. I really wish I could afford to go to more conventions, AC is one I'd like to check out.

I'm wondering what Anthony and other non-furry attendees thought of the dreaded furry fandom, now that they saw one of the biggest gatherings firsthand.

I'll feel "out of place" if everyone had a costume but me.
