Mark limped to the car and followed the ambulance. One of the EMTs mistaked him for a hunter and fired a pistol at him. He felt the bullet go through his arm and parked in the parkinglot of the hospital. He ran inside and waited for Anubis
Mark stood up and said, "So help me if he dies." He kicked the wall and screamed. People were looking at him oddly. Someone grabbed his neac and put a knife to it. They said, "Don't move wolf...act normal." Mark whimpered knowing nobody would help him.
The oppertunistic riots in the streets wasn't Alex's idea of fun, she had mannaged to pick up some riot gear and a handgun out of a damaged SWAT van. Posing as a human police officer seemed to make looters keep there distance. The radio on her suit crackled to life: *sst* All available units to the city hospital *sst* looters on route *sst* Lycan presence confirmed. "I have to go help, i can't just leave." She ran as best she could in the riot gear towards the central hospital.
Mark ran behind the couch and pulled a pistol out. He aimed it at the cops that came in and fired. He said, "I thought it stopped you....it should have worked. Please help me Alex...or Dane,or someone." He shot one of the cops and felt bullets go through him. He tasted blood in his mouth and leaned up aginst the wall. The stone activated again and everything in the hospital froze except Anubis and people outside.
The chaos in front of the hospital stopped Alex getting in that way, a group of residents throwing stones at the police. Following the wall she came to a ground floor window that wasn't barricaded. *SMASH* Breaking the window Alex jumped into the darkened empty libery. Hearing a distant gunshot. "Mark!" She could feel he was hurt.
Mark was coughing and screaming Alex's name. He said, "i'm sorry...I shouldn't have fought back...i'm sorry." He crawled to her and hugged her crying. He said, "Please Alex,Don't let me die,please...I l...ove you." He fell to the ground and put his hand on the bullet wound.
"I don't know how to heal that!" She sobbed after seeing the state Mark was in. "Do you know anyway at all?" She picked Mark up off the floor with one hand and armed pistol with her other.
Mark screamed and said, "Need doctor...doctor,please don't let me die. I just need a pain reliever and the Lycan powers will do the rest." He watched as he was dragged through pools of blood.
"Ok, stay here out of sight, theres got to be a drugs cupboard nearby." Running out of the libery Alex followed a sign that said: Pharmacy. It led her down a long coridoor, there was 2 doctors and some police who seemed frozen to the spot. "What in the world?! No time to stop, get pain killers." The room was shut and the sturdy lock took 3 shots to break.
A hunter came in and somehow turned into a Lycan. He said, "Once I bite you,you will kill all your friends." Mark screamed and began to move backwards but ran into the security acess door. Mark said, "ALEX....HELP!"
Hearing the echoing crys for help down the coridoor Alex grabbed some anesthetic medicines off the counter and ran back, as she turned into the libery a large paw hit her in the chest. *BANG BANG BANG* she shot wildly as she fell flat on the floor. "Another lycan!?" Her small calliber pistol wasn't going to stop it unless she hit something vital.
Mark stabbed the hunter in the back and killed it. He ran over to Alex and rubbed the blood from her muzzel. He kissed her and smiled saying, "I'm sorry,I just couldn't think about loosing you.Please forgive me for being foolish like that,trying to kiss you." He backed away from her and laughed. Everything froze around Alex and a Lycan came out of nowhere. It said, "You have done great Alex...your bravery has gotten you respect from many." Everything unfroze and Mark said, "Oh...I am sorry,forgive me." He bowed down to Alex and stood up.
i regainded conchisness when my ambulace entered the hospital with police escorts. "my pack, my pack where are they?" i breath weakly. they didn't awnser but put me under with anistesia
Mark walked outside and saw the ambulance. He ran to it a pulled the doors open. The paramedics pulled out a gun and began to shoot him. He pulled a machete out and killed both of them. He awoke Anubis and slowly walked him outside. He looked at Anubis and said, "Sir...welcome back,sorry I took so long." He hugged Anubis and walked over to Alex and Dane. He asked them to get into the car and got in. He started it and the radio said, "President Vann Damm is dead.He was shot 2 minutes ago. The killers are killing everyone in the white house. What the,AHHHHH!" The sound of blood flew onto the speaker. Mark said, "Sir we need to get to Lunar Crest."
i stating to find it hard to breath again "i won't make it i'm too wounded i can't survive with my regenerative abilites alone the damage is too serius to heal on my own i need to be operated on or i wont survive." i started to gasp for air then stoped breathing and passed out
Mark looked at Dane and pulled Anubis to the hospital. He laid him down on the operating table and told the doctors to get to work. He said, "You better help him or I will kill you." Mark sat down in the waiting room and felt lightheaded.
"What I the hell is going ON?" Dane asked, as he sat down next to Mark. "And don't threaten the doctors, or anyone for that matter, it really really doesn't help. Esspecially since nervousness is bad for operating. Need steady hands and all."
Mark raised his fist and said, "I don't need your comments.You could at least help me." Mark rubbed his eyes and moaned. He said, "I'm sorry man...I just don't know what to do."
Still posing as a riot officer Alex took alook out side, the angry mob made her change her mind. The hospital interior seemed mostly empty. "Dane could stay here and you could come for a walk with me Mark, see if theres a better exit to this place." She hoped a walk round the empty rooms would relax Mark.
"Alex,I really am stressed...I will upset the Lycan race if Anubis dies. I am really sorry about causing this much trouble.We can go to Lunar Crest and we can get to know each other better. Alex...I love you." Mark sat down on a bench and told her to take a seat.
"okay clamp" the surgin said. as he worked on Anubis's inside's he obvisously never worked on a lycan before. "suckion, nurse how are his vitals?" the nurse looked at the screens "so far so good" she responded
Mark grabbed the man and said, "It isn't good enough,it isn't good enough." His eyes glowed a dark amber and he screamed saying, "Please forgive me,I am just worried about it." He dropped the man and said, "Alex...I feel a bit wierd.HAHA stop saying that man." Mark fell over and smacked his muzzle on the bench. He went unconscious.
