Jarod nodded before speaking again. "We are indeed."

He walked down the hallway and into his bedroom, snatching the bag of cash from underneath his bed. Risky or not, he kept it for things like this. Jarod jogged back into the living room and slung the bag over his shoulder. He took the clip out his gun and inserted a new one, if he needed it he wanted to be able to make use of all of the rounds. He tucked the gun back into his pants and turned to Dezander and Nekko.

"Alright then, I'm ready. What do you guys need?"

Dezander looked towards the front door and shrugged.

"We need food and batteries; then we must leave."

He continued watching the FBI man through the window, trying to predict his next move. With a smirk, Dezander sighed.

"Looks like he's going to be following us, carefully. He certainly doesn't look like he's easily tricked."

Dezander turned back towards the others and leaned against the wall, waiting for them to decide when it was time to leave.

"Food and batteries. That's a good idea." Jarod peeked through the shades. "I think we should skip town first."

He though for a moment, there had to be a plan. If they skipped town, odds were that they had a chance to ditch the FBI agent. If they stuck around a bit, there was the chance that the man could leave too.

Jarod turned back to Dezander and Nekko. "So then, should we wait for 'secret agent man' to leave before we head out, our should we leave now?"

((OOC: I'll won't be on as much. I'll try to be on once in a while though.))

Nekko shruged. "If we must wait then let us wait." He said, taking out his two 9mm and daggers. He set them on the counter and began inspecting them one by one. "You know, if we do leave. I'll have to head back to my place real fast so I can pick something up. Trust me, it might be helpful." He said looking at Dezander and Jarod with a smirk on his face, as he realized he was showing Jarod and even Dezander his current arsenal. "I hope you're not mad at me for hiding my weapons. Eventhough I can shift almost on freewill, you never know when you could use a handgun."

Dezander moved forward and pulled a large sheet of paper from one of his pockets. With a swift motion, he slammed it onto the counter which Nekko's weapons were currently occupying. He unfolded it, allowing it to take its true form; a map. Colorful marks were smeared all over the document, some clear, others smudges. Dezander moved his hand onto the map's center, pointing to a group of red dots.

"Each of these dots represents one of our mobile patrol squads, okay?" He looked up to Nekko, then over to Jarod. "The center of this map is downtown Classon, also known as the hot zone. So this is going to be the military's primary focus of patrol. Now, what the map isn't telling us is that there are likely going to be choppers in the air. The forest and the plains have basically nothing going on, military wise, that is. I don't know much about Skibur, though."

Nekko glanced at the map as Dezander slamed it on the counter which also made the resting gun and daggers jump a little. "I'm not so worried about the military, they don't know how to hunt down weres." Nekko said wincing slightly at the word 'were'. "Anyway," he continued putting everything back in its place. "are you sure it'd be safe to travel tonight, I mean with the military patrols? Wouldn't it look suspicious if there were two civilians walking around?" He leaned against the counter and stared at Dezander waiting for a reply.

"They might be suspiscious, but I don't think it'll be long before they go door to door." Jarod said, looking at the map intently.

He rubbed his chin thoughtfully, trying to think. "Okay so, we know the millitary pretty much downtown Classon locked down, and Skibur may or may not be in the forest."

If the millitary had downtown Classon pretty much locked down, there was no doubt they had the surrounding area handled too. There was of course the slight chance that Skibur agents occupied the forest, but there was also the chance that they weren't. Even if there were a couple people from Skibur in the forest, what were the odds that a soldier and two weres could take them out?

He spoke again. "Nekko, in your experience, how tough are the guys from Skibur? How large could the group possibly be?"

by Nekko
Nekko shifted a little at Jarod, hearing his questions. "In my experience? Well really Skibur sends their lower initiates out on hunts, occasionally sending a higher-up. But they can be really tough at times, almost like a malitia force. As for how large of a group they are, I dont think anyone really knows, they don't all meet at the same place they comunicate through several smaller groups lead by a larger central group."
He looked at the map. The forest was their best chance at a place to hide out for a while, he also doubted the fact the fact that there were any Skibur in there as well, but he didn't know for sure. "If we're going to the forest, we should go deep into it, to be sure noone discovers us."

Dezander nodded, obviously deep in thought. His eyes gazed over the map carefully, for he was trying to memorize all the locations of the military patrols. With a sigh, he looked over to Nekko.

"I suppose it would be our best option, but what about Skibur? I mean, not even the military goes into the forest and we can't completely dismiss Skibur from the situation, so if we're attacked, we're on our own." He closed the map, folding it back into his pocket. "Nekko, you also said something about retreiving something from your place, correct?"

Jarod nodded. "He did, I totally forgot."

Silencing himself, he sat in thought. Wait? If he lied about having weapons, what else could he possibly lie about? What if he was planning on turning on me and Dezander? He stopped the thought, it had to be paranoia, it just had to be.

He turned his attention back to the plan, if they hunted in small groups the three of them could easily take them out. If they bumped into a larger group, however, it was pretty much game over.

"So then, Neeko, why don't you get what you need and then we'll see what conspires from there."

Nekko stared at Jarod, who seemed to be having a crazy thought of some sort. He got off the counter and streched. "Alright, lets go. Dezander? Do you think we'll be able to make it with out running into any military patrols?" He said making his way towards the door. 'Finnally I'll hopefully be able to use some of my "toys"' He thought, a grin running across his face. He turned back to Dezander, "About the whole Skibur being in the forest, if they find us we'll be able to fight back. Trust me." He said.
"Oh! One more thing, if I could go to my place alone, I think that'd be a good idea. For all of our sakes." Nekko said with his hand on the door knob.

Dezander followed behind Nekko in a confused state, while also waiting for Jarod to follow behind. He stopped.

"This part of town shouldn't be too crowded with patrols. I want to keep the bloodshed to a minimum though, if possible, for now. If we do happen to run into Skibur, those patrols may actually end up being our diversion." Dezander began following behind Nekko once more.

Jarod followed carefully behind Dezander, making sure the safety on his handgun was off. As he walked along he pondered as to why Nekko wanted to visit his apartment alone. What was he hiding?

After hearing Dezander speak, Jarod spoke himself. "That's a good idea. If they cross paths it would indeed make for a good diversion."

Jarod continued to follow behind Nekko and Dezander physically silent, yet mentally questions fired off everywhere.

What am I doing? Why am I doing it? What's gonna happen? He shook his head, letting out a grim laugh at his inability to cope.

Nekko turned to the door and cracked it open. He peered outside, everyting looked clear. Without saying anything he swung open the door and steped outside being cautious of his surrounding. He looked back at the two. "It's quiet but it should be safe." He looked around, "Alright, which way should be the clearest for me to take to my place." he asked Dezander.
'I really need to keep an eye on both of these guys, trusting them so far has been a good idea, but I never know when things could turn for the worse.' Nekko thought.

Dezander moved forward, examining the surrounding landscape carefully. The streets appeared to be relatively abandoned except for a few parked vehicles. He reached into his pocket, retreiving the map once more. He unfolded it and moved over to a nearby vehicle, slamming the map onto the hood.

"Well, if I recall, your place is near East Park, right?" he ran his hand along one of the map's creases. "So, we probably want to take an northeasterly direction." He moved the map back into his pocket. "The good news is that the gunfight earlier probably sparked a new interest for the military, making the area around the park more accessible. The bad news...we're going to be passing by a couple of patrols on our way there. We're pretty close though, so it won't be a very long hike."

He looked over to Jarod.

"You know these streets, right? Which one do you think will be our best option, time wise."

"Time wise," Jarod said, thinking. "you'd wanna stay on the main streets."

He let out a small 'humph' and spoke again "If I was you, although I'm not, I'd stick to the back roads and snake my way over to East Park. Its probably an extra five minutes, but I'm sure the time is worth it to get past the partols."

Clicking his toungue, he spoke once more. "If we do stick to the main streets as you said, we'll probably hit some partols. If we do and are spotted, we're pretty much stuck. The area is like a giant circle, you can take one road and as long as you follow it, you will wind up where you started. If we take the back streets, there's dead ends, cul-de-sacs, plenty of places to hide, really."

Dezander seated himself on the car's hood and pulled the pistol from his ammo belt once more. He began inspecting over its reflective finish.

"Either way is fine with me, as long as I can avoid being captured." He spoke in Jarod's direction.

Nekko let a low growl escape his throat as he listened to Dezander. "Listen no offense but at least you're not the one being hunted on a daily basis." He said coldly as he made his way to his appartment complex. "Take which ever way you want. I'll be going alone, less of a chance of me getting noticed." He turned around, slowly shifting, "Just meet me in the main lobby." He shouted back at them. He turned back the way he was going. "Sorry if I seem like a prick right now...its just who I am." He said softly, hopefully Jarod didn't pick up on it.

Nekko dashed into the nearest shadowy ally and began his way home. He let out a soft sigh as he peered out the other end looking for patrols. 'Clear.' He thought and dashed to the next ally.

As Nekko entered the next alley there was a soft click he might recognize as that of a firearm's safety disengaging. Raul grinned and stepped out of the shadows, his glock held in both hands and pointed dead-center on the were's heart. "Gotcha," he said. "Now, be a good kitty and don't do anything stupid. I've got questions for you, and I don't want to have to hurt you if it can be helped."

It became clear that Raul had likely be watching them, which was true. He had be hoping for a move like this - capturing people was so, so much easier when they split up. Especially if the other guys had guns. Despite the confident and grinning expression he wore, though, he felt rather shaken after watching Nekko shift and having the shifted were in front of him now wasn't doing much for relieving that feeling.

Dezander hopped off of the car's hood and locked the pistol back into its holster. With a bewildered sigh, he looked in the direction of downtown Classon, watching as helicopters circled around the city's highrises. He looked to Jarod.

"Well, we better get moving, huh?" He began making his way up the street. "Something tells me that we're in for a surprise when we arrive at his place."

((OOC:: Ooooo, Nice Aki. This should be fun))

Nekko stoped suddenly as he heared the click of a safety. He saw who was there, a man in a suit (bah, curse you synonyms) he didn't recgonize holding a gun pointed at his chest. He let another low growl out as he rolled his eyes. "Listen I don't really have time for this." He said. 'Damn...who does this guy think he is. I could easily at least try to run away. Maybe if I...' He thought.
Nekko shifted his right foot back a little, making for a more cofortable fighting stance. "But, fine. I'll listen to your questions." He said stalling for time. He watched the mans eyes closely waiting for him to blink.

"I was thinking we could do our question and answer at a more secure location, without me having to aim a gun at you and with both of seated and all that, maybe a recorder too," Raul replied, a slight glance revealing he'd noticed Nekko's shifting of his stance. "You see, I'm with the Federal Bureau of Investigation. I came here to investigate the attacks going on in Classon - to find out why we had to pretty much put martial law in effect here to ensure people get killed less often. But it still happens and that struck me as, well, odd for animal attacks."

"Then, I find something like you. So, my questions center around what you are, what your intentions are, and what the hell is killing people here. It's really in your best interest to work with me here. Because I'm just looking for the truth, not to blow your head off, unless you force me to."

"Which reminds me - I'd also like to know who those guys were that tried to get you - the ones who weren't the army."

About that time, Raul blinked.
