Nekko relaxed his appearance. Leaning against the wall, he took a deep breath, closed his eyes, and answered, "The name Nekko, and I'm a therian. Were-creature in common terms." He placed his hand on one of the machette's (Sp?), "Short and simple, the guys with guns are hunters. Part of an organization called SKIBUR." He open his eyes and lazily glared at the agent, "It's a long story. As for who's the head honcho, nobody's sure but it must be a decendent of 'Sir' Skibur himself."
He got off the wall and took a few steps towards Agent Raul. "Now, Mr. Agent-Man, what's your next move going to be?" Nekko glanced over at Dezander before continuing. "I can only wonder..."

Jarod continued watching with great curiosity at the interrogation of Nekko. It was over within moments, far too short to truly provide Agent Longden with any information. He watched as Nekko placed a hand on one of his machetes, he was suprised that Longden didn't seem too unnerved.

Jarod moved a little closer to the scene, truly curious about what Nekko's next move was.

Raul's only reaction was, at first, to cock an eyebrow. "A were critter huh? I guess I should've guessed as much from the whole ....tiger-ness before," he said. "But you got my last question wrong - I meant the mauling and such. I was briefed that 'creatures' - they never specified what - were behind it."

"While Skibur is capable and culpable for shooting s*** up. I do not think they can maul and rip and tear like a clawed creature...."

Nekko scoffed. "Well sorry." He cautiously turned his back to Raul. "Us weres, or atleast I, have a different meaning for "nasty sh**". And yes, we do occasionally HAVE to defend ourselves with claw and fang." He turned back towards raul. "So are you satisfied? Can I leave now?" He finished, starting to sound irritated.

((OOC: LIFE CHECK. Is anyone still interested?))

(OOC: Like I said in the other thread, I've been a bit "tunnel" vision so to speak for the last few weeks, usually just responding to whatever thread was on top. I'm still up for it, just waiting for an opportune time to post.)

"These maulings started before all this, and with more regularity than self-defense would suggest," Raul pointed out, looking unsatisfied with Neko's answers. "Unless you can tell me why that is, then I guess you are free to leave. You seem sane enough so you pose no threat to anyone. I will have to report these SkiBur fellows to my superiors."

"Are you suggesting that we're all killers?" Nekko growled, pulling out one of the machettes and pointing it at Raul. He angerly lowred the blade. "Alright, so maybe it is true some of us lose control and there are those whom like to kill for the thrill of it..." He paused, returning the machette to its sheath. "Now if you excuse me I have places to be."

Raul smirked grimly. "Your violent reaction does not reflect well on your statements," he replied. "Go ahead and go then."

Nekko glared at Raul. "Dont try to find me. I'll find you." With out looking or saying anything to Dezander, he walked back out of the ally. Passing a car, Jarod's sent hit his nose. He stoped for a quick second to say, "So, you still in or you wanna go your own way?" and contiued to walking.

"From what I've just seen, I doubt we can head back." Jarod said, emerging from his hiding spot. "Odds are that your buddy Longden over there's gonna have Classion all wrapped up."

He cracked his back and stretched his arms before speaking again. "So I guess I'm in, not that I've much a choice anymore."

Jarod looked over his shoulder, making sure that there was no one behind them or anything. "What're we gonna do, though?" he asked "Where exactly are we gonna go?"

"Its nice to know you're still up for it." Nekko said with a grin on his face. "And yeah, knowing the government they'll have agents everywhere." He was making his way back to his apartment again, which was sevral blocks away. "Now to answer your question's of what and where." He turned to Jarod, walking backwards. "We can either stick with the old plan and hide out in the forest or we can go to the therian underground. It's not really UNDERground, but its out of the way and low profile. As for what we're gonna do I think it's my responsiblity to spread the word that Classion will be crawling with agents that know about us. That and...well...I don't know about you but I'm gonna destroy Skibur." He finished with a shrug.

"And where is this underground?" Jarod asked, suddenly interested again.

He thought for a moment, Longden probably had them boxed in by now. The Authorities were probably waiting in the forest, just for them. There had to be another way out.

"I don't think the forest is such a good idea anymore." Jarod said, preparing to state his thoughts. "Now that Longden knows we exist, he's probably got the forest all wrapped up too. I'm thinking htis underground network, society, whatever it is; might be the best choice."

Nekko grined. "The therian underground is every where my friend. You just need to know what to do and what to say." He turned down the road back to Jarod's. "And the authorites aren't allined hostile to us yet. But it is a good idea to avoid them." Making another turn, he made his way back to the sewer entrance. "If anything they're keeping a close eye on us and searching for Skibur." He stoped facing the entrance.

"Shhh" He motioned to Jarod. A low hissing growl reverberated out of the sewer. "This'll only take a second." He whispered to him.
He took a step forward. "Those who dare to tred wet, dare risk their lives." He called out. A reptilian figure steped out of the darkness.
"And those who dare not risk their lives, do not belong. Long time no see, Nekko." Said the were-croc. "Whos that?" He pointed at Jarod.
"Same to you, Jake." He returned. He turned to Jarod. "Go ahead, introduce yourself."
