"If you say so." Nekko sighed. The cage started to sink in to the ground. "It's not like I have a choice." He finished and thought. 'And it's not like I intended for this to happen.' He held back a smirk as he laughed to himself.

"Lets go" Fang said to Dr.Lopez as they went down to the sub-basement. On the way there Fang wrote a note to Jarod to meet him in the basement and gave him directions. When Fang and Dr.Lopez got there Nekko was sitting in the cage within a glass room. "Hello Nekko" Fang said wiht a grin on his face.

Nekko got up as Fang and Dr. Lopez walked into the room outside the glass room outside the cage. "You know, I like the whole cage in the glass room-room." He looked around. "Really secure." He smirk on his face. "So, you gonna open up? Or are am I a prisoner or something?"

"Well we don't know yet if your a prisoner or not"Fang replied "You did trespass on our property, anyway what are u doing here in the fist place?" "Oh and Nekko I would'nt step out or break out of the cage"Dr.Lopez said.

"Well, seeing as how you have me in a cage, which I really find offensive, I think that qualifies me as a prisoner." Nekko said. He crossed his arms, he ment bisinesss (SP? It just doesn't look rightr). "And I'm here, apparently tresspassing, because I thought it over. And you know what? It doesn't sound that bad." He stare was stuck on Fang. "Its either this or I go back to The School."

Nekko hid is true intentions not only verbaly, but in his actions. It came to him naturally, must have been in his genes. 'But really I'm here to tear you to shreds. Leaving enough for The Whitecoats to analize of course.' He thought to himself in a pause of silence. "So, you gonna let me out? Or what?" He showed a fanged grin. The fact that he was in a cage royally P.O.ed him and caused slight shifts like that.

"You will be let from the cage" Fang said while pressing a button that started to make the cage wlls sink into the ground"but your ganna have to stay in the glass room." "We can't trust you after last time"Dr.Lopez said. "you will be served what ever food you like during breakfest, lunch and dinner time" Fang said"Just ask for the food."

Nekko's body relaxed when the cage sunk back in to the gorund. "Thanks." He sighed. His arms fell limp to his side. "I hate cages." He spread himself on the ground. For some reason he was really sore. "I'll let you know when I'm hungry." He said with a laugh. "I think I'm gonna take a nap. I have a huge headache."

"We better set up the glass room defenses"Fang said "You go set up the outer while I activate the lase fence" Dr.Lopez went to a control panel while fang went to the glass room and pressed button along the room. Then he went to the control panel and slid in his key. "That should do it"Fang said "I just hope he doesn't try to escape or it will be a bloody scene."

After receiving the note, Jarod left his room and made his way to the basement, curious as to why he'd been summoned. When he arrived he saw Dr. Lopez and Fang, and further away Nekko- locked up in a glass box of sorts.

"Well, I'm here." Jarod said, walking over "What is it that you needed?"

"Oh hey Jarod"Fang said "I just wanted you to say hi to Nekko" "Mayb even find out why he's here"Dr.Lopez added. "Don't get to close, I'd stay by the rails"Fang warned "Me and Fang will be doing some test farther to the back if you need anything"Dr.Lopez said " and please don't touch anything, this is very expensive and sensitive equipment."

Nekko looked up as he heard Jarod walk in. He sighed, raising an arm to wave while still laying down. The room's defenses sprung to life as Dr. Lopez and Fang activated them. "Well, I guess I'm not getting any sleep soon." He mumbled. "So, what's up Jarod? Long time no see...then again I didn't have a choice." He finished shooting a glance at Fang.

"Sensitive and expenside, eh?" Jarod asked smirking "Sounds like the stuff I break for kicks."

Jarod walked over to the console and turned on the mike after waving to Nekko. He leaned in and spoke.

"So...Dr. Lopez and Fang tell me that I have to ask you why you came here, I suppose I'll humor 'em." He leaned away from the mike and smiled back at the two "Seriously, man, why did you come back? Wouldn't you think that they'd capture you like this?"

Nekko spaced out as Jarod spoke through the PA system. 'Firelance' Said a familiar, feminine voice in his head. He snaped back to reality. "Huh?" He looked up at Jarod. "Oh! Yeah, I actaully kind of expected it." He stretched and yawned. 'He is not to know of our plan yet. You are being watched.' Said the voice again. 'Ok I'm definitly not imagining that.' He thought, hearing his own voice. "Uh...yeah, I came back here after thinking it over. I over reacted the first time." He stood up. "I mean really, this place isn't like The Institues."

'Firelance. You will know when to use this code word.' Said the voice. 'Who are you? What do you want?' Nekko "said" back to the voice.
'You work for us, that is all you need to know for now.' Said the voice.

Nekko contiuned the conversation with Jarod. Silence would raise suspision. "So, how do ya like it here so far?" He asked.

Do not harm him, the voice said to Alec, he too is part of the plan along with Nekko.
Alec turned and ran down the nearest street.
By the time Alec stopped he was so far away that the diminishing gunfire sounded miles away. Alec started to walk down the street when he ran into somebody familiar from his past; his partner from the government agency he worked/ works for.

"Hello Alec", the man said, "long time, no see."

Alec then felt two pricks on his back and a sudden jolt. He fell to the floor unconscious.

"Alright Nekko, would you please go to the top right corner of your room and stand still"Fang asked "I want to see if our new invention work."
Then Fang slid his key into a key hole and turned to the left. There was a humming noise and then panels started to slide away in the center of Nekko's room. Then boxes started to float out of the opening and landed in spots all over the glass room and the opening was being closed up again. Dr.Lopez then went to her control panel and pressed a serios of buttons and the pulled a lever. "They dont seem to be repsonding" Dr.Lopez said to Fang "Lets pump the signal up a bit" Fang repleid and then Dr.Lopez pulled the lever up more. The humming noises got louder and then the little boxes started to unfold and transform into different pieces of furniture. There was a bed at the north wall, dresser and mirror at the south, and a 40' inch flat panel TV at the west wall.

Alec woke up in a hospital bed. He was naked but the bullets wounds to his exterior were healed. He still had the dog tags around his neck. He was not restrained so he decided to get up and put some clothes on. All he found was a bath robe and slippers. He put them on and walked out into the hallway. The hallway was empty of people and other rooms whose doors were opened were empty too. Alec walked until he herd some noises coming from behind a door.

Behind that door you will find the answers to most of your problems, the voice said to Alec.

Alec rushed the door splintering it. Inside were three people:
Captain Wells, his partner, Special FBI Agent Rodriguez, and Dr. Roberto Zepolo.
They were sifting through file cabinets and computers. All three looked up as Alec came through the door.

"Well look at that", Wells said, "It has only been 30 minutes and you look normal."
"This is remarkable", Dr. Zepolo said, "They have found a way for the organic tissue to heal up."
"Hello Alec", Rodriguez said, "I am Special FBI Agent Rodriguez and I work for . . . "
"I know who you are", Alec interrupted, "I do not remember how I know you but I know you. You too Dr. Zepolo. Wells, what the hell happened?"
"You are asking me?", Wells replied, "One day you were giving us tons of info and the next, you fell off the grid. The agency was so close to bringing the School down with your intel."
"Well that really helps me out", Alec responded, "Whatever they did to me, they wiped out most all of my memory. I just recently started to remember more and more."
"What do you remember?", Rodriquez asked.
"So far only horrible things", Alec replied, "things you would begin to imagine. But somehow I think I was able to get some of experiments out. But now I lost them, I do not know how. I need to find them, I think they are in danger."
"Do you where you are?", Wells asked.
"No", Alec said.
"We are in one of the School's hospitals that we raided", Wells continued, "Only thing was we found it abandoned. They must of have moved out about a few weeks ago. But we have all of this info at our disposal. We will take them down."

Before Alec could respond back the thought of his wife and baby came to him.

"Where are they?", Alec asked.
"Who?", All three of them replied.
"My wife and baby!", Alec told them.
"They went missing about 10 months ago", Wells told Alec, "Shortly after you took the mission. Then six months later you went missing. That was the last we herd of them or you."
"Where were they last seen?", Alec asked.
"I herd something about her waiting for you at your cabin up in the mountains", Wells replied.

Alec turned around, found his way through the building, and found a car outside. As Alec was starting the car Wells sat in the passenger next to him and Dr. Zepolo and Agent Rodriquez sat in the back.

"We are coming with you", Wells told Alec.
"Fine", Alec said, "just do not slow me down."

Alec pulled out of the spot and headed towards the route that will take him to the mountains.

Yes, yes, Alec. Go up to the cabin, it is there that you will meet your destiny, the voice said as the city turned into the countryside.

Nekko walked over to the corner of the room. Little boxes appeared and started to take the forms of furnature. He looked around. "Nice." he said. "For a hideout, you guy's have really nice stuff."

"Well ofcourse we would have technology ahead of it's time"Fang said "Dr.Lopez os a brilient scientist and i think the school gave me some brains to, this is the first time we have tested it so becareful the furniture could electricute you." Then Fang left Dr.Lopez to her work and went to the bio-lab station.

Alec drove up the steep road to his cabin to discover it partially burnt. Even his wife's car was there completely burnt. Alec stopped the car, jumped out, and ran through what was left of the front door. He ran down the stairs to the basement where his office is. The fire seemed to be started in the basement but his office was barely touched. He opened his secret safe to reveal a coded message by his wife:
In Code: Alec, I am holding up in basement at the moment with our baby. They are trying to bang the door down now. A whole bunch a creepy looking dog men. With them was your partner Wells, some FBI women, a crazy looking doctor, and some business woman. If you get this and we am missing, then that means they got to us. Find us, whatever it costs, find us. I just hope they did not get you first.

Alec stared at the letter in disbelief. How could it be possible, Alec thought to him, they have been leading me on all this time.

"What happened?", Wells yelled down from the top of the steps.
"I do not know", Alec lied, "but I think they found what they came for. I will up in a bit."

And you are the one who should know, Alec thought to himself as he opened his burnt locker door. He found his old army uniform and M16 rifle from his time in Iraq before he joined the government agency.
Alec took off the hospital robe and got dressed putting on the burnt army uniform. He prepared his M16 and ammo. He pressed a button in the locker opening up the paneling. Alec put on his boots and pushed the paneling open revealing a door. He closed the paneling and opened the door to a dark hallway. He turned on the lights and closed and locked the door. Alec walked down the hallway for about a mile coming to rest at the escape hatch. He opened that and climbed up. The ladder lead to his boat house on the lake which they too burnt. He walked out and followed the path away from the cabin and back to the city.

I just hope I find Nekko and Jarod before it is too late for them too, Alec thought as he walked through the cold dark woods.

"That's pretty useful." Jarod said, watching the boxes fold out into furniture. He yawned, still rather tired from the recent chain of events. This was a nice break, even if he was locked up in a hideout with a few quirky people.

"Couldn't tell you how much I like it here," Jarod said, leaning into the mike "I've been here for like, twenty minutes.Not quite enough time to see how generous our hosts are."

He stopped for a moment, realizing what he was doing. If they stopped talking, the doctor and Fang might get an odd sense that Nekko was trying to do something. He continued the conversation, wondering as to what Nekko's plan was.

"So then, how'd you get here?"

Alec continued to walk through the woods not knowing where he was going. He could see more then he thought he should. But he knew the reason for this; he is a damn robot! It just hit Alec that he will never be normal again.

I just do not understand, Alec thought to himself, how could this of happened. I had everything going for me. A college degree, military enlistment, a wife, a job, a house, and now a baby. What went wrong?
Nothing went wrong, the voice spoke, After all is good and done, you will not need those simple things to have everything going for you!

"Who said that?", Alec asked out loud, his voice echoing through the trees.
A branch broke behind Alec making him prepare his rifle for firing. Then another branch to his immediate right broke. He saw a figure and fired. But the figure did not fall down so he fired a few as the figure got close and he recognized who it was. Rodriquez approached Alec while the bullets hovered in front of her. She was within 10 feet from him when the bullets fell to the floor.

"Was that really necessary?", she asked.
"Yes", Alec said.
"Well, I will have you know", she went on, "that I am a telekinetic and somewhat of a mind reader."
"What am I thinking right now?", Alec sarcastically asked.
"That I am a traitor and that I work for the School", she replied, "but I have you know, I only work as an infiltrator, like yourself, only unlike you, they have not found me out yet. I have always been a step ahead of them."
"If what you say is true", Alec continued, "were you an experiment?"
"No, I would have to say that I am not", Rodriquez said, "my parents said I was born like this, that it was a sign from God. But what I do is, it helps out to read peoples minds and move things with your own mind."
"Okay, so why are you following me?", Alec asked.
"Well I wanted to tell you where you knew me from", Rodriquez started, "it seems that it was fate that we meet time and time again. We ran into each other at the college, in Iraq, in Washington, D.C., and at the School."
"Anything else?", Alec pondered.
"Yeah", she replied, "I am sorry to say this but they killed your wife. As for your baby, I do not know. I picked up Wells thinking it as he was talking to Zepolo. I am so sorry Alec."

Rage flustered in Alec, in felt his muscles tighten and become hard.
"Are they still back at the cabin?", Alec asked.
"No", she replied, "they left right after you disappeared. I was not able to pick up where they were going. But I know where you can find somebody who can help you find them."
"Tell me", Alec demanded.
"About a few miles east of here there is a facility in the mountain", Rodriquez told him, "go there and you find who you are looking. If fate wants it we will see each other again."

And just like that, she vanished into the air, right before Alec's eyes.
They are going to get it, Alec thought to himself, every single last one of them are going to deserve what they are going to get.
Alec put in another magazine as he started to walk east towards the unknown.

Nekko nodded as he listened to Jarod. He walked over to the bed, he assumed, and ploped himself down. "Ah, it was easy, Jarod." He stretched again. "After all, I ran away from here once. After that, instinct kicked in and it was that easy." He said, refering to his more animalistic side.

When Fang reached the bio-lab he started to mix some chemicals and noticed something different. The experiment actually work! "Dr. Lopez come here!" Fang yelled to her. She came hurring to him "What is it?" She asked, "Do you see anythign different with Jhonny over there?' Fang replied. "He actually reverted back to human form!" Dr.Lopez exclaimed "the medicines actually worked!" "I think it was batch 23 that did the job"Fang said" and the best part is it replaces no human tissue with your human tissue i dentical to the rest fo the body and its spray on" "It could realy help with those nasty dog beasts the school has" Dr.Lopz replied.

As Alec walked he thought if he could try to remember something from childhood. He stopped by a tree and sat down. He closed his eyes and forced his computerized human brain to remember.

Alec had another memory flashback:
He was young, no older then 9 or 10. He was in the back seat of his father's car. His father was driving and his mother was talking to him. His father pulled up the steep road to reveal the beautiful cabin. Alec liked to go up to the cabin with his parents during the summer. As always they unpacked and got everything situated. Alec put his bathing suit on and was ready to go to the lake. They went to the basement where his father opened the door to the hallway that lead to the boathouse. Alec and his fathered walked down it as his mother made some snacks for them. Alec excitedly burst into and out of the boathouse and ran on the dock. Alec jumped off the dock and landed in the water . . .
. . . he woke up in pain as if his body was rejecting him. That his mind was being forced out of his body. There were doctors and nurses and others trying to hold down his wailing body. They were all talking fast holding on to instruments. He was much older now and in an OR of either the school or one of its hospitals or institutions. He looked at the table next to him and that was where he saw some nurses putting a robot together. Then he caught one of the other doctors say something: "Bring Dr. Zepolo in, stat!" And in through the door came the crazy looking doctor and a woman wearing a business suit. As the door was open Alec caught a glimpse of Wells out in the hallway talking to somebody else he recognized. Then a metallic object pierced his skull and it was lights out.

Alec woke up in a cold sweat. He was even more angry then before. He got up and punched the tree behind him. The tree fell over with a crash. He picked up his M16 and continued walking east.

Alec walked and walked but he was still no calmer; he wanted answers.
Alec walked through a small stream and then an open field and back into the forest. The terrain started to get rocky after a while and the path started to get steep. After a while of that it leveled off and he was at the base of a cave covered by a very large boulder.

This is it, the voice said, this is where it shall begin or end.

Alec pushed the boulder aside with ease and walked into the cave unaware of what he will find or what he might of have done.
