Dusten faced the demon cut in two by Wolfward. "Wolfward! Demons can't be killed by ordinary means or weapons! You need something like Shadowdancer! (view the item creation)

"Oh, they die. Don't you worry."He continued to attack.

[Thunderclaw]

"I am worried. They only appear to be dying. They regenerate elsewhere when killed by a weapon that isn't made for it. For example, Clockwork apparently never died when you would slash him up

Wolfward puts his swords away and summons Shadow Dancer to him."You know I don't like using non-Lycan weapons."Attacks with that.

[Thunderclaw]

Dusten drew out another gun and started firing rapidly at the familiars. "I am aware, but unfortunately, it's necessary to fight them."

[wolfward]

All are killed, by a mixture of Wolfward's and Dusten's attacks. "That was easy."

[Thunderclaw]

Dusten puts the guns away. "Well, it looks like it is no longer safe for me to stay here in the ruins. I'm going with you."

[wolfward]

"Oh, no you're not. We don't need the pets you always manage to bring along."

[Thunderclaw]

Dusten takes a step back, dumbfounded. "What pets? I don't know what you are talking about. Besides, you still have more you can teach me, I know that."

[wolfward]

"Well I know what I didn't tech you, and that is the guns part. When did you pick that up?"

[Thunderclaw]

"What? These?" He pulled back his coat to reveal 14 assorted styles of handguns. "I was taught after I lost my eye." He pointed at his bandage-styled eyepatch. "It was a technique taught to me by Crimson phoenix, Striker, and Dad helped finalise it, using my speed to fire all fourteen guns almost simultaneously, producing a machine gun style effect."

[wolfward]

Wolfward eyes the weapons scornfully"You know my views on guns."

OOC: Guy's! I get back on only four hours later and you totally killed all the demons without me! Don't you have any compassion!? I wanted to kill demons... (pout) anyway

In Character: Blade stood back up, groaning. One of the demons threw a rock at him, knocking him out, and now he woke up.
"Dmmnit!" he muttered. Hal was sitting by him, whimpering.

[Cyberwatt]

As the bodies of the hellspawn began to liquefy into nauseous puddles of black ichor, Blade began to notice how upset Hal seemed to be. The creature was pawing at his arm, whining excitedly and directing his gaze to some spot Blade did not see at first.

All at once, Hal leapt over his master and loped to an area near the circle of rubble which held the greater demon trapped. A metallic glint was just visible beneath a pile of bones and rubble.

Blade looked over at the glint. How did he miss that? It seemed like a small piece of something larger.
"Help me move this rubble!" Blade said as he hauled rocks off the pile.

[Miguel]

Zan quickly turned his attention to the generator and shrugged. Surge was right. Rust coated most of its interior components, and it would surely lead to disaster if it wasn't shut down. He made his way around the generator and examined the area behind it. The generator's users were found; two blood stained bodies, a man and a woman, surrounded by canned food rations and an emergency radio.

He turned away and signaled for the guards to shut the machine down. He looked to Surge.

"There are bodies behind it," he spoke, pointing to the generator. "What killed them?"

[Thunderclaw]

(At Wolfward) Dusten looked down at the pile of rubble. "No. We can't move it. The demon under there isn't like the ones out here. That could call an entire legion of demons on us, and severely wound us as well. It's a greater demon. I would recommend waiting for it to die before getting anything from underneath. However, demons are bound to be this way, so we probably don't have much time to stay here safely."

(At Zan) Surge went over to the two bodies lying dead by the generator and examined them.
"Whoever did this has done a good job of covering up. They've made it almost impossible to detect what would have killed them. There are all sorts of injuries from different attacks. Tooth marks, claw marks, slashes, bruises, gunshots...Anyone could have killed them. It could of been human, werewolf, vampire, demon, or something else. Whatever did this was quite intelligent though, that is certain." Surge then turned his attention to the generator. "However, I think it's more important to deal with the generator problem first. Better save the living before checking the dead. n fact, it might have marks here as well that could give us a hint."

"Whatever," Blade said as he put some of the rocks back. What ever it was, it pulled at Blade, like it was calling to him. Blade had to concentrate to keep himself from pulling out the item from there.
'Come to me...' It called. Blade looked around. It seemed no one heard the sound, 'you need me...'

[Cyberwatt]

Hal continued to paw at the exposed metal, sniffing and whining. The others could see a wild look in his yellow eyes that belied more than mere bestial instinct.

At last the creature lay prone before the object, a gold and silver protrusion that seemed to reflect more light than what shined upon it through the yellow haze that was the sky. And upon it were carved runes of a very unwholesome nature. Merely looking at them made Blade feel ill.

One of the guards began messing with a control panel on the nearby wall, and within moments, the entire room went dark as the generator's interior components powered down. Zan couldn't see anything, but he could hear everything, explosions from above and running water from below. Only the faint light from the second guard's gun provided any reassurance as to where he was and where he was headed, just barely bright enough to keep him sane and under control. The light itself was shining on the nearby ladder, illuminating the rust. The room was becoming slightly horrifying, echoing in every sound from the world around it, and as far as Zan was concerned, he wanted to leave.

Quickly, he moved to the ladder and began ascending it, feeling as the rust cut into the palms of his hands. It was clear that there was quite an excitement going on above; explosions were almost pattern-like, as if artillery was situated directly above them. Each explosion would pause and then sound, rhythmically, as if being timed. They had to be directly below the ambush camp for HR. If they were lucky, they would emerge behind the lines and avoid being spotted. He shook of his worry and began continuing upward, feeling as rust slid from the bars beneath his feet. The ladder could collapse at any moment.

He could hear movement up above, footsteps. He bumped the exit, a hole-covering, and pushed it upwards, allowing it to cling on the ground beside the exit itself. He lunged upwards and found himself inside a building, one that was also completely dark, but flashes bursted through the window, illuminating the room for breif seconds. He whispered back into the sewers.

"Surge," he spoke, "it's clear. Let's go."

[Thunderclaw]

At Surge
"Very well Zan." Surge muttered some words under his breath and he started to slowly hover up to the top of the ladder, until he was just behind Zan.

Blade could see in the dark pretty well. Then the object started to glow. Blades curiosity got the better of him and he ripped out the object. Only a few small stones fell, but the pile remained motionless. Blade sighed. He looked at the object. It was a sword...or some kind of old sword. It was blunt and made out of metal he never encountered before.

Blackwolfhell, Surge and zan are in a different group to Wolfward, Dusten, Blade and Hal. They haven't left the area yet, but where surge and Zan are, they have. Please correct your post to fit this.

The guards followed behind, and within seconds stood behind Zan and Surge. Zan looked towards one of them and began whispering.

"Stay here and watch this area." He looked towards Surge. "You're with me."

Zan took the rifle from the second guard, using it to light the area ahead of him, and began moving towards the nearby door. He could hear voices on the other side, of which he was not familiar with. They sounded aggressive.

"Are they dead?" one, gruff voice spoke from the door's opposite side.
"Affirmative, sir," a second, robotic voice responded. "We made short work of them."
"Are you sure?" the first voice reacted.
"Yes, sir, I'm positive. Bloodoak Lake lies just a couple miles to the east, and from what we understand, that is their headquarters."

Zan was too late. The traders were dead. Nothing stood between the HR and Bloodoak now. The town was going to perish. Footsteps sounded, and became nearer. The room became bright, and Zan was thrown backwards. The door was open, and in its place stood two people, one dressed in military uniform, the other in armor. There was a gunshot, and for a second Zan thought he was dead.

He wasn't, though. The older guard that had been accompanying him was lying dead on the ground, appearing to have died instantly.

"Ambushes don't work very often anymore, rebel," the older, uniformed man spoke to Zan. "It probably would have been a good idea not to turn the generator off. You would have had a better chance."
Zan regained his balance and dropped his weapon, knowing the people wouldn't hesitate to shoot him. "I didn't think you would use a generator like that," he spoke, sarcastically.
"Times are desperate, I'm afraid," the man responded.

Zan looked towards Surge, as if expecting him to fix the situation.

[wolfward]

Wolfward didn't know what to think of the object, for he had never see a weapon of it's make before. But rather then get distracted he said," We should get out of here before more enemies show up. Let's go." They then continued their trek towards their base. Passing more destroyed buildings and lifeless wasteland. Wolfward says "20.000 people used to live here, now it's a ghost town. I've never seen anything like it. What do you think Dusten?"
