Pan-seared chicken-onion-garlic sausage and roast garlic smash red potatoes.

Nope, fleas and cholesterol ain't gettin' me tonight.

Seriously yummy p'tates. Tried a new trick where I boiled them whole instead of cutting them up. It took a little longer for them to cook but the taste is like night and day. I also understand doing it that way doesn't boil away the vitamins and minerals.

If you have access to a steamer, try cooking them that way. It takes forever, and it is something of an artform, since the shape of the things makes a difference in the cook time; but oh, my; are they good that way!

A bowl of rice topped with a bit of cheese, a carrot, and some almonds. Yay for eccentric meal choices. I was too lazy for anything more sophisticated.

I love how this cheese is labeled as being fat free, yet next to that label, it shows that it's not fat free. One of those two is wrong.

I'm chewing Orbit wintergreen gum when I'm not popping ginger ale-flavored cough drops like a drug addict. Soon I'll be drinking some cough syrup with codine... ugh. I hate being sick.

I also must say that Quizno's is the most sorry excuse for a sandwich joint in all of America. I grabbed a chicken flatbread "Sammie" on the way to class about two hours ago, and I was expecting at LEAST something maybe the size of a taco shell when folded in half? No, the flatbread my ingredients were put on was quite literally the size of my palm when unfolded. The lady weighed the chicken cubes on a scale - there were five chunks. I counted.

So I devoured the thing in literally three bites, and sat through Macroeconomics STARVING.
