"Freebird" and "The Last Rebel" by Lynyrd Skynyrd

"Broken" by Seether featuring Amy Lee (I like Evanescence alright, but this song seems to carry an awful lot of power behind Lee's vocals. I like it.)
"Unchained,
Unrestrained,
Unbroken,
In my world...
The Gods have fangs."

I have a few new groups like FireFlight, Destroy the Runner, and Pillar. They're mainly christian so if you want to hear them listen to Air 1 a nation wide radio station. Here's the web address www.air1.com. You might be able to find a frequency near you, now if you're international just download the radio reciever off the site and you'll listen right in. :howl: :oo

FireFlight is one of my favorite bands! Strangely enough, I'm not even religious, but a large chunk of my music collection consists of Christian rock/metal. Who cares if I'm not spiritual, it's very uplifting, clean, great music. Actually, my favorite song of all time is by FireFlight, 'Unbreakable.'

FireFlight - Unbreakable
Closing In - Imogen Heap (and just about anything from her album Speak For Yourself)
Noticed - Mute Math
Flight of Kings - The Classic Crime
Voice Like a Nova - Sever Your Ties
Anything - Mae
Vesuvius - Frank Ticheli
Lux Aurumque - Eric Whitacre (both choral and symphonic winds versions top my list of contemporary band music)
Running From the Scene - Manic Bloom
I'm Gonna Getcha Good - Shania Twain

That's a TEENY sample. Any of these bands/composers/artists in this list frequent my "Most Played" playlist on iTunes.

My favorite Opeth-song, from Still Life which is arguably the best album Opeth ever made.
