Wiki?

Any thoughts on having a wiki, or would it be counterproductive? I was intending on the use of the wiki being for info on each werewolf movie/book/story/comic/etc, as well as any relevant werewolf lore. The only thing is that it would be replicate of what's already on Wikipedia, except for anything that's of indie material that's "not notable enough" for Wikipedia. Or does anyone have any other ideas? Or does anyone think we could do it better than Wikipedia?

Hmm...I thought the forums were meant to discuss all aspects of werewolves. Wouldn't a wiki finalize everything and inhibit further discussion?

The wiki would only be for fact-based information. It wouldn't on anything subjective nor opinion-based nature. For example, things regarding traits of werewolves in general would not be valid wiki entries, since those are based upon opinion. While if there was an entry for a specific movie, and it states the people in it, who produced it, the synopsis, the traits of the werewolf in that movie, then that would be valid material.

There isn't supposed to be any opinion-based material on a wiki, as that's generally what is discussed on a forum.

How about, rather then generic... specific? Like the traits and such of /Freeborn/ werewolves? More like what fan sites of things like Underworld do?
